The mattresses felt like concrete, and people are worried about bed bugs.

Desde hace muchos años que vengo viajando y este fue EL PEOR HOSTEL DE TODA MI VIDA!!! Había chinches por todos lados, la primer noche tuve que dormir en los sillones de afuera porque me habían picado en todo el cuerpo las chinches. Al otro día me levanté para reclamar que me devuelvan mi dinero y irme del lugar en cual no sucedió eso ya que no me devolvieron nada, el personal muy agresivo me gritó y me amenazo que si los denunciaba con la policía iba a tener consecuencias. Por favor no vayan a este lugar! Ahórrense su tiempo y su dinero.

Lamentablemente las piezas (camas colchones) y baños no estaban en tan buenas condiciones, había poca aislación de ruidos externos, no era muy cómodo el espacio para dejar tus cosas, tampoco se entregaban toallas, pero por sobre todo habían chinches en las habitaciones. Creo que lo último es algo que no puede ser aceptado en un lugar para dormir ya que no sabes cómo pueden afectar las picaduras a un otro con alergias o simplemente porque no vas a poder dormir en la noche de las picaduras.

Vorsicht Bettwanzen!! Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hostel war leider alles andere als angenehm. Die Badezimmer waren in einem miserablen Zustand. Die Toilettenspülung funktionierte nicht, der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war niedrig und aus den fünf vorhandenen Waschbecken funktionierten lediglich zwei. Der allgemeine Zustand der sanitären Anlagen war schlichtweg inakzeptabel. Während unseres Aufenthalts bemerkten wir einen ungewöhnlichen Hautausschlag, den wir vorerst nicht einordnen konnten. Am letzten Abend stießen wir auf vermehrte Google Rezensionen, die von einer Bettwanzenplage berichteten. Daraufhin durchsuchten wir unsere Betten und entdeckten nach kurzer Zeit die Bettwanzen. Nach einer langen Nacht ohne Schlaf informierten wir die Rezeption von dem Befall in unserem Zimmer. Die Rezeption reagierte sehr kulant, als wir das Problem meldeten. Die Nacht wurde uns erstattet und das Personal half uns vorerst die Bettwanzenplage in unserem Gepäck einzudämmen. Nichtsdestotrotz ist dieses Hostel aufgrund der hygienischen Zustände und der defekten Einrichtungen nicht weiterzuempfehlen.

El lugar es pintoresco y con una onda hippie que esta muy buena, dentro de todo limpio, o al menos por las mañanas, ya que despues durante el dia nadie pasa a ser una nueva mantencion. Lo peor, que tienen chinches, te caminan por la cebeza, el cuerpo, y hasta se meten en tu mochila, si logran solucionar ese problema (cosa que dudo, no vi que hicieran mucho durante mi estadia y cada noche habia mas) podria ser un buen lugar. La ubicación no es muy buena, cerca del puerto para cuando te tenes que ir o llegar, pero despues en si es una isla para alquilar moto o anda directo a la zona centrica.

Unfortunately our experience in this accommodation was awful. The so called "bungalow" was not what we expected and when we asked for a change of room on arrival they mentioned that the bunk beds in the shared room had bed bugs. We stayed here for the first night, the bed is extremely uncomfortable, there is just one small fan, only one spotlight working and only one window (which we kept shut during the whole night luckily) there are holes all over the ceiling and we had to ask for a change of sheets. We really wanted to give this place a chance but unfortunately when we arrived on our second night (about 8pm) a squirrel of some sort had come through the holes in the "bungalow" (shed!) ceiling and left a gift for us on the bed! While we were trying to find (battling) another option for us with an extremely unhelpful blonde lady member of staff, a gigantic spider crawled up the curtain by the bed. We were told there was no option to refund us the money and that there was only a couple beds left (the ones with bed bugs from the previous night). This lady did not apologise once and kept making comments about how most people don't mind (even after the muck on our bed and the massive spider...). It was only when mentioning contacting booking about the situation and insisting on how you cannot rent this type of place as accomodation that we finally managed to get our money back (only for the remaining night unfortunately). This lady didn't offer us any help in finding another place to stay and as mentioned, never apologised.

Been to many hostels in Asia this by far had the worst bed bug infestation I’ve ever seen! Multiple beds with dozens of them, bitten all over needed up at a different hostel after one night. Only one shower had running water. Location is the only good thing

Most of the beds in the room had bed bugs so we had to go to de beach to sleep. The staff was rude and didn’t want to give money back, toilets very dirty and almost no water in the shower. Worst hostel I stayed in my life, not even worth the price.

Depende que ducha, tiene mas o menos presión, hay una de la cual practicamente ni sale, las camas mas o menos, un dia me toco una de arriba y te clavas los resortes y casi me voy para abajo subiendo del mal estado que tenia la misma,lo peor de todo son las chinches, el primer dia solo mate dos y pude dormir, por eso volvi a hospedarme alli, ahora el resto de los dias fue IMPOSIBLE te caminan por todos lados, me he sacado hasta de la cabeza, un asco, las paredes suelen estar sucias de sangre ya q todo el mundo las va matando alli. Si logran extinguirlas puede ser un buen lugar, mientras tanto les diria q no vayan, cuando me fui encontre varias en mi mochila, realmente asqueroso

There were bedbugs during the stay and the host informed us about it only after arriving at the location. It could have been avoided had the host kept us posted much earlier so I could find alternate options to stay. The restrooms were broken and were horribly dirty most of the time.

Hemskt!!! Extremt mycket bedbugs i sängarna och sovrummet stank mögel!!! Värsta hostelet vi någonsin varit på!!! Vi hade bokat 4 nätter och direkt när vi kom försökte vi hitta ett annat boende men då de va fullbokat på än va vi tvungna att stanna de två första nätterna. Men de va alldeles för äckligt så andra natten sov vi på stranden! Min kompis tappade räkningen efter att hon dödat 10 bedbugs som kröp synligt i hennes säng!! Dessutom extremt otrevlig personal. Dessutom ser sängarna inte alls ut som på bilderna, extremt ofräscha!!

Worst place I’ve stayed in my entire life, honestly. They have bedbugs but don’t seem to care, facilities are run down & dirty, rooms & beds are shit, the toilets & showers are dirty & barely working. The volunteers are not very helpful & they’re kind of rude, especially the girl.. They upgraded me to a private room because they made some kind of mistake, but it was horrible, felt like a prison cell. This place should be shut down.

Bed bugs! The place had tons of bed bugs and from talking to people that were there before it's been that way for weeks and still they are fully booked. in addition the staff is apathetic to this problem and basically told us that's just the way it is and there is nothing to do about it

Was really nice untill we relized our beds where infested with bed bugs. We saw lots coming out of the beds had to go sleep on the roof on bean bags others had to find another hostel in the middle of the night cause they were being bitten so much, i am covered in bites and now need deep clean all of our bags, got laundry done at the hostel but which will now need to be all re washed (refund not offered) .When we approached the staff in the morning they were very unapologetic and quite rude, they admitted they were aware of this issue and were working on it but did not think it would be necessary to warn guests, we were reluctantly offered one night refund and no apology. As we checked out business continued as normal as they checked more new unsuspecting guests into bug infested beds .Other than this a really lovely hostel most of the staff were really lovely but think the way they delt with situation was very poor and the whole situation was really discusting.

Bed bugs in the bed and the showers didn’t work. We couldn’t shower for 4 days. Kitchen would start serving food when they felt like it and it would only be a couple things on the menu. No locks on the doors. Air con is only allowed on at certain times and staff would forget to put it on. The good thing was the offered you refillable water. Loads of stray dogs so if you’re scared keep that in mind. Good location but not worth it.

the hostel’s atmosphere was good. Had a nice chill out area and a pool table, it’s also close to the beach and the ferry port. However, the beg bugs were not great, and the beds were uncomfortable. we arrived at the hostel and were told, by the staff, there was a report of bed bugs. When we go to our room we found them on every bed. We also ordered some food waited about an hour, after paying, and it never arrived, but we got our money back

This hostel is absolutely terrible. I’ve been travelling through Asia for five months on a budget and this is the worst place i’ve stayed in. The showers didn’t work, the place was dirty and worst of all is infested with bed bugs. When we told the man at the desk he was so rude, laughed and said it was something we just had to deal with as backpackers - then refused to give us any money back. We then ended up wasting a day getting everything cleaned as the bugs were everywhere. Disgusting place.

!!! Bed bugs !!! When I arrived I went to the 12 bed room and it was really not smelling good. When I wanted to sleep, the mattress was super hard and than I found a lot of bed bugs crawling in my bed. So I had to sleep at the couch from the hostel which was super uncomfortable 😣 Sorry to say but I really can’t recommend this hostel. When I said that they have bed bugs there reaction was. „Well they are everywhere where and they are coming and going with backpackers.“

Worst hostel I have ever been to in my entire life. The whole facility is an absolute dump, with dirty floors, ripped dirty sofas with dogs and dog hair everywhere. It stinks of marihuana and the mattreses are horrible, feels like you’re getting stung by old bed springs. You know what else you’ll get stung by? BED BUGS. The whole dorm had bed bugs. Disgusting. We left in the middle of the night and they weren’t even available to help us with the whole situation. The day after we came back and they only refunded us half the value we paid. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Lleno de chinches, solo te devuelven el dinero si cojes y te vas a media reserva y solo el dinero del dia que te has ido. Muy mal estado, malas instalaciones, y muchas muchas chinches. Filled with bedbugs, they will return your money if you ask but only if you have left to sleep elsewhere, and only the money of the day you missed. The entire hostel is in a very poor state, and there are many, many bedbugs.

Bed Bugs!!!! The staff didn't informe us about the bugs. We could saw them! The beds are uncomfortable and so noisy we nerly couldn't sleep. The bathrooms were always wet and dirty. I would not recommend this hostel!

Tienen CHINCHES. Pedí una habitación y al llegar me la cambiaron sin darme ninguna explicación. Me robaron 200 euros y la dueña dijo que era mi problema, ni siquiera intentó ayudarme. Muy mala experiencia, no lo recomendaría.

Super lovley staff and social hostel! Good location, super close to the pier and walking distance from everywhere. However the dorms were quite dirty and there was a lot of bed bugs, find for what it is though

It could have been a very good hostel, with the pool table and playstation and a private garden. However, the beds are the worst i have had in my trips. They are uncomfortable and make a lot of noise when you move. BED BUGS!!! Bed bugs in this hostel are treated as a thing that is normally there and that nothing can be done about it. I booked 3 nights and i stayed only one. If they dont solve their bed bug situation it is better to stay away.

When we arrived the receptionist told us, “sorry but we found bedbugs in your room last night, they are cleaning now but we can’t not do more. If you want you can cancel the booking” The island was full booked so we couldn’t do nothing. We ask for a discount at least, and the boss was really rude with us and told us “if you want you can cancel it and go to another place” That’s was impossible. Anyway, we had to sleep there Really disgusting

We had bed bugs!!! This explains why our room smelled of gas on arrival. We realised this after we moved to another hostel. So we went back to tell them. All they said was, "I don't know what you want from me. That's a problem with all the hostels here.“ The worst thing is that they didn't tell the guests who slept in that room! Justification: „It is not our responsibility. We clean the rooms every day.“ The mattresses were wrapped in foil, so it was very loud with every movement. They were sagging. You lay on the wires. So it was not comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was so low that you had to shower for 1 hour to remove the shampoo from your hair.

La habitación de 12 estaba sucia, con el aire acondicionado muy alto (frío) y la literas muy incomodas (mucho ruido cada vez que te movías y los colchones de muelles, clavándote todos en el cuerpo). Además me picaron chinches o pulgas, el cuello lleno de picadas, ya que la limpieza brilla por su ausencia en casi todos los rincones del hostel. Además no hay espacio para guardar la mochila, cosa que incomoda mucho el paso por la pequeña habitación, donde hay 12 personas durmiendo… Entiendo que el precio sea barato pero deben haber unos mínimos, y la limpieza es uno de ellos!

Thought a lot about what I could say here, but I’ll keep it short - Do NOT stay here (think dirty, think bedbugs, the list goes on…)

It’s quite buggy in the outdoor common space, we were there in monsoon season so the rain made the bugs worse. Make sure to use repellant! We had a dorm room that was accessed through the main area. At night there’s a swing door on the side of the property to get in; and with no lock on the dorm room door, it means basically anyone can come in. Backpackers are generally lovely people and this didn’t worry me personally, but just be aware.
