Traveller Bunker Hostel

This is easily one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was spotless—from the clean bathrooms to the comfortable beds—and the hot showers were a huge plus. There are no bedbugs or mosquitoes, which made the stay even more pleasant. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. And they created such a great atmosphere, making it easy to meet and connect with other travelers. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and social hostel experience.

Om te beginnen hebben wij onze was bij het hostel laten doen maar kregen wij deze gekrompen en zelfs kapot terug. Daarnaast waren de douches erg vies en hebben wij tijdens ons verblijf niemand deze zien schoonmaken. Verder bleken er bedwantsen te zitten wat ons ook geen prettig gevoel gaf. Tot slot wilden wij een “full day” tour boeken en is ons via de mail verteld dat wij dit bij aankomst konden doen. Echter was dit al volgeboekt toen wij aankwamen. Overal geen goede ervaring met dit hostel.

This stay would have been a 9/10 overall for us, if it wasn’t for finding bed bugs in the headboard of our bed on our final night. We informed the staff member who kindly moved us to another room. I hope the hostel takes this seriously as a bed bug infestation is a serious problem. An unfortunate end to what was a lovely stay at an otherwise great hostel.

Insgesamt gutes Hostel :) Allerdings haben einige Reisende Bettwanzen bei sich entdeckt… Personal schien dies nicht zu interessieren. Bettruhe um 23:00 fanden wir auch etwas früh :/

Das Hostel ist wirklich super, um neue Leute kennenzulernen. Es werden Touren zu den Teeplantagen und durch den Dschungel organisiert. Leider ist ab 11pm bis 7 am Nachruhe. Wir durften uns ab 11pm nicht mehr in den Gemeinschaftsräumen aufhalten. In einem Bett wurden Bettwanzen gefunden, alle anderen haben alle ihre Betten kontrolliert. Es waren keine mehr zu finden.

Leider hatte ich Bettwanzen in meinem Bett, die mich nachts auffressen wollten . Am nächsten Morgen wurde mir ein anderes Bett angeboten. Auf dem frisch bezogenen Bettlaken lagen tote als auch lebendige Bettwanzen drauf. Ich habe mich nochmals beschwert und mir wurde dann ein drittes Bett im 4-er Zimmer angeboten. Leider hatte auch dieses Bett schwarze Flecke ( Kot von den Bettwanzen ) . Das Personal hat zugegeben , dass das Hostel gerade ein Bettwanzenproblem hat.

Il semble que le dortoir à côté du nôtre était en plein traitement de punaises de lit alors que l’hôtel était plein .. ça ne donne pas envie d’y rester 5j. Mis à part cela l’hostel est bien placé et il y a une bonne ambiance. Un peu cher pour dormir à 16 en dortoir mais les lits sont biens car séparés par des murs et rideaux.

I volunteered in this hostel for 3 weeks. These are behind the scenes that guests may not see 1. every mattress is brought out and inspected for bed bugs. every bunk bed is cleaned with the mattress out 2. the floor is vacuumed and mopped every single day, and then they will even clean it a second time in the afternoon 3. every toilet cubicle, including sink and toilet bowls are washed every morning 4. literally every corner of the hostel is cleaned everyday. it's hard to even find dust in there this hostel is being run by clean freaks, a lot of effort is put into cleaning. they accept volunteers for work exchange, and it's by far the best experience I've ever had.

Clean hostel. Nice bunker beds. VERY nice and professional receptionists. Good coffe. Good WiFi. Good people. Good location. Reasonably priced. No bed bugs witnessed. Overall highly recommended.

it's great place for solo and group traveller's.we were total 3 person , and the check-in process is fast , the stuff's are very friendly .and the most important is the place very neat and clean , there is kitchen and you can use it and they have refrigerator in case you need to use it , and the beds are also very comfortable and clean and just to inform this place no bed bugs issues I faced , overall I am completely satisfied and happy while staying here , will be here again when I will come back to Cameron highland (tanah rata)
