Mr. Baboon Hostel sits in the center of Santa Marta and leans into easy comfort: huge beds, roomy dorms, air conditioning, and a clean pool for cooling off. There is also a rooftop space, a shared kitchen, and a layout that feels calm and tidy rather than cramped. The staff is a major strength. Reception is warm and practical, with help for rides, luggage storage, early check-in, forgotten items, and trek logistics. The location is strong too, with the historic center, food spots, and tour meeting points close by. It works well as a relaxed base before or after the Ciudad Perdida trek.
