BED BUGS!! I sae some on the sheets and in the curtains, I wasn't certain thats what they were as I've never seen them before but I googled pictures and they matched perfectly. Then a couple days later itchy bites showed up in rows on my back!

Al hacer el check-ing me cambiaron de habitación y muy temprano al día siguiente entró un cliente con el responsable indicando que habían chinches. A mí solo me dijeron que los posibles responsables son los de la lavandería. Luego de una semana volví porque tenía una reserva pero la misma responsable que me habia atendido ya había salido y el responsable italiano de noche la llamó y ella pidió verme por la cámara. Como me reconoció anuló mi reserva diciendo que había llegado después de las 9 pm.

Aunque el hostal es grande y quizá otras habitaciones estén mejor, mi experiencia en un cuarto de 10 camas fue negativa: ambiente oscuro, mal olor y camas incómodas. Desperté con picaduras de chinches, señal de mala higiene. La cocina es pequeña y poco práctica, y los baños no muy limpios. Lo mejor: la amabilidad del personal y la excelente ubicación. Tal vez los cuartos privados ofrezcan una experiencia superior. Aunque agradezco mucho la amabilidad del personal, no volvería a este lugar.

Bedbugs also saw a cockroach, the Italian manager impossible to talk to and very rude, he only speaks Italian and is always yelling at hosts.

I booked this hostel for two days. But on the first night, within two hours of lying down, my whole body started to itch. I checked the sheets at night and found out that I had bed bugs! I was bitten all over my body. Later, I communicated with the staff that there were bed bugs in the room. At first, she said it was mosquitoes until I showed the video. The staff did not speak English at all. We communicated with translation software, and a Spanish girl helped to translate. When the female employee knew what happened, first, she helped me change the room, and second, I asked her to help me wash some of my clothes because I had put them on the bed. The female employee was very reluctant. She even told others that I brought the bed bugs! Third, I asked her to provide me with medicine. And I asked twice before providing it to me. Finally, because my body was very itchy, I went to see a doctor by myself. I paid for the hospital and medicine myself. The hostel did not make any compensation, regards. And I paid all the expenses during my stay. There was no refund! This hostel is really not recommended! But it seems to be the onlyhostel in the city center.

Got bed bug bites over my body. 🙄

The location is the only good thing about this hostel!! Staff are rude, shout at everyone and thinks they run the place! No atmosphere and a feeling of not being safe. Met a guy who came in through the open street entrance at 2am looking for somewhere to sleep. Unclean rooms and showers. Bed bugs and mosquito bites while sleeping. Do not stay here if you want a pleasant time 😞

Possibility of bed bugs presence. Very aggressive manangent.
