La chambre du bas en sous-sol est une honte : il y a des punaises de lit dans tous les lits qui m'ont piqué et m'ont coûté un lavage en laverie, la salle de bain et les toilettes sont nauséabonds, humides et plein de mouches

There are bed bugs on my bed Although I took photos and videos and they watched them, they didn't apologize or contact me after the incident. They only said they would look into it. I'm writing this comment a month later because I gave them a chance.

I checked my bed in Room # 6 after 1 night because I heard that some guests who stayed in the private room left earlier because of bed bugs. And of course , is l also found bed bugs big and small. I told the manager and he said he would "take care of it" and he offered me a private room. I told him that I am not interested in staying. My roomate later told me that he spoke to the manager and the manager thought that I had made up this bedbug story because I did not want to pay for the room. My roomate said 2 hours later, they had already assigned my bed to another guest. I later met a traveler 1 month later who had said he stayed in Room #5 before me 2 weeks peior and he also had bed bugs. So #5 ,6 and private has bed bugs , and they clearly don't care and make no attempt to resolve the problem. See pictures below.

This place has bed bugs. We stayed here 3 nights and got bitten all over. I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but on top of the bed bugs our room was directly below the bar floor, which apparently turns into a night club at night. They were blasting music until 2am most nights. If you’re looking for a quite and clean place, then I would avoid this place and the Sultanahmet area in general.

I do understand that what happened was a one time event, which they were fixing as I was leaving, but the hostel had bed bugs and ticks. We found two blood filled ticks in our bed in a span of four nights and left. The hostel was nice enough to give us a full refund, but the money "saved" was less than the doctor's visit (blood test and antibiotics). I have bacteria in my blood, itchy red bumps all over my body, and a fever. The level of hygiene was beyond unacceptable. Despite this, it's a good hostel. A good social area upstairs, great location, and staff that was super friendly. Ps. The funky smell in the bathrooms is sulfuric, and can be easily removed by lighting a candle for one hour per day.

Cheers Vintage Hostel ha una posizione killer a Sultanahmet, a pochi passi da Hagia Sophia, Moschea Blu, Arasta Bazaar e il cuore turistico della città vecchia. Il rooftop bar e la terrazza possono essere la parte migliore del posto, con viste diurne, colazione o drink, e una piattaforma di lancio facile per un soggiorno super centrale a Istanbul. Il lato sociale c'è, ma è irregolare. Possono esserci cene turche, energia da pub crawl, un bar al piano di sopra e staff gentile come Peter, Sinan, Burak, Ozi, Alberto e Alex che rendono il posto più caldo. Però non è in modo affidabile una grande macchina sociale; lo spazio comune può sembrare piccolo o tranquillo, e il pub crawl riceve reazioni molto miste. È un ostello budget ruvido sui bordi, non un soggiorno polished. Le camere possono essere minuscole, consumate e molto vecchie, con le camere nel seminterrato che attirano le lamentele più dure per odore, umidità, mosche, aria scarsa e bagni in cattive condizioni. Pulizia, manutenzione, acqua calda, aria condizionata, armadietti, politica asciugamani, prezzi lavanderia e gestione contanti/pagamenti possono essere tutti hit-or-miss. L'avviso più grande è l'igiene. Reclami recenti su cimici dei letti compaiono in più camere, inclusi dormitori, private e seminterrato. Se quel rischio è un dealbreaker, questo è un hard pass finché l'ostello non avrà chiaramente risolto.

- Colazione, prezzi lavanderia, noleggio asciugamani, assegnazione camere e aspettative di pagamento potrebbero non combaciare con quello che i viaggiatori si aspettano.
