Bangkok Bed and Bike

DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY HAVE BED BUGS. On our third night in Bangkok, my friend was bit by bed bugs on both legs and forearms. We verified that they were bed bugs because the bites occurred three in a row and matched what we looked up online in pictures. They also looked different than mosquito bites. We told the owner about the issue and she refused to believe that she had bed bugs. She checked the beds and "found no evidence" despite the countless bites on my friend's body. She said that it was due to an allergic reaction even though my friend has no allergies. We also talked to the manager who said that "it wasn't their problem". When asked what they were willing to do to fix the situation he replied "nothing". He begrudgingly gave us money for only ONE load of laundry to wash and dry the clothes in order to kill any bugs that may have been in them. We told him that we needed to wash more than one load but he was unwilling to give us more money. (We only asked for an additional 50 baht which is about $1.50. He didn't even want to give us that even though the bugs were the only reason we had to wash our clothes in the first place). He was completely unsympathetic, didn't care, and didn't rectify the situation. I am incredibly disappointed by the service we received from the hostel and their inability to take responsibility and make the situation right. They made no attempt to fix the bed bug issue or improve our experience. Save yourself the trouble and don't stay here.
