Point Break Santa Teresa

Pésima experiencia. (Nos picaron pulgas y chinches TODAS las noches) Nos alojamos con mi novia y el hostel es un desastre. Completamente sucio, solo 1 heladera para todo el hostel si tu cuarto no la incluye (es una mugre esa heladera). Nuestra habitacion estaba terriblemente llena de cucarachas y hormigas. El baño es desagradable y la cerradura de la puerta y las ventanas no funcionaba. Lo peor de todo fue que nos picaron pulgas y chinches de manera terrible todas las noches. Llegamos sin ninguna picadura y nos fuimos completamente lastimados por estos insectos. No recomiendo PARA NADA quedarse en este Hostel. Cuando pedimos ayuda, solo tiraron un poco de perfume en el cuarto y dijeron que habian hecho una "limpieza exhaustiva". Por ultimo, es CARISIMO para el PESIMO servicio que brinda.

I stayed at Point Break for a week and was extremely disappointed. As soon as we arrived my boyfriend and I lifted up the mattress to examine it (as we do at every hostel/place we stay when traveling) it was covered in bed bug stains. We continued to wake up every morning covered in bites, despite sleeping on top of the covers completely wrapped in our own sheets that we had brought from home, and lathering ourselves in bug spray before bed. The vibes and community that Point Break keeps is also in question. Upon arriving we saw signs stating that quiet time was from 10pm-7am. This rule was not respected or followed by most of the guests. People would play music until 3am and then proceed to start it up again around 6:30am. This made getting a good night rest virtually impossible. The staff of Point Break seemed to take no issue with this extremely obnoxious act, despite its huge negative impact on the rest of their guests. There was also a huge lack of respect for the communal areas, where u keep your refrigerated food, as well as cook. People did not clean up after themselves whatsoever, making it a pretty gross environment to eat and hang out in. On our very last morning before switching hostels we went down to make ourselves breakfast from the food we had purchased from the grocery store. Some other guest had decided to finish off our milk, leaving us nothing to make cereal with. That completely and utterly concluded our stay and we checked out as soon as possible. I do not recommend staying here if are looking for a clean, calm environment. I hope for Point Breaks sake that we had just gotten unlucky when it came to the other guests staying, but I will not be returning.

We stayed here for a week and couldn't be more disappointed. We woke up every morning with bed bug bites all over our bodies and after complaining to the staff they didn't do anything about it. This is not a quiet hostel! Even though there are signs everywhere saying quiet time after 10pm people were playing loud music every night til 3 in the morning! It kept us up every night! The staff didn't seem to do anything about this either which was very disappointing. The kitchen was small and people didn't clean up after themselves. The dishes were almost always dirty and usually had to be rewashed before use. If your looking for a relaxing getaway this is NOT the place! Don't waste your money here.
