The Panama Hat Hostel

my bed in room 108 had bed bugs which woke me up in the middle of the night with multiple bites. i informed the management and turns out this is a known issue. he said they had sprayed the mattress and that it hasnt been an issue for 2 months. he put me in a different room/bed for the night, which worked for the time being. next day before leaving for a tour i wanted to sort out my bed situation. there was no one around even at 11am. i texted the owner but got no response. finally in the middle of my tour i got a response letting me know that if i wanted to stay another night i would have to take the same bed, which has now been sprayed and treated. are you serious?! ok, not being able to sort this matter out earlier put me in a bind due to having to look for a new accomodation later in the afternoon. usually dont rate poorly run hostels due to it being a budget stay. but i felt that this needs to be addressed and to warn any future guest. get it together Panama Hat Hostel.

They're not taking bedbugs as serious as I wished. My neighbor got bitten by one, and they gave the bed to the next person.
