HI Portimão - Pousada de Juventude

HÁ MUITO PERCEVEJOS, estou todo picado. Quarto 203 (casal) infestado.

Après mon séjour chez vous, j’ai eu des piqûres de punaise de lits. J’étais dans la chambre 218.

Die Bettdecken sind nicht sauber, ich bin von Bettwanzen heftigst zerbissen worden.

BED BUGS !!!! My bed was full of bed bugs. The receptionist confirmed and called her boss who denied and refused to find any solution. I even found a nail on my mattress. The kitchen was also very dirty, with cockroaches… Even after we found the bed bugs, they refused to refund us. We left at 11pm as we didn’t want to sleep with bed bugs….. Strange vibe in the hostel anyway…. even though the swimming pool was ok. It’s also quite far from the city center. DONT GO !!!!!

Overall not a great stay. Firstly the location is very far from everything and feels unsafe walking in the area as a female. There were bedbugs in my bed and I woke up with bite marks all over my body. There was mould and dirt marks on the bedding as well as pillows. The showers were one of those that go off after a few seconds so it's impossible to shower comfortably. The atmosphere was not very social and comforting and a lot more of a mellow stay. I hope these pointers will be taken into consideration for other travelers and the hostel management because the hostel has a lot of potential to be a great space and have character. Add some pot plants, a few tables on the communal patio upstairs, some background music. It all makes it homely and comforting. It was very morbid unfortunately..

Bettwanzen überall. Duschen und Toiletten dreckig.
