I got bitten by bed bugs and almost couldn't check in because I didn't receive a check-in email.

During my first night here I woke up with many nitrat. In the evening I found bedbugs. Unfortunately there is only staff in the reception in the morning. The woman that answered the phone number you can call outside those hours would unfortunately not let me stay in another room, so I had to find my own solution in the evening for a place to stay and laundry. Even tough she didn't offer any help, she was very kind and understanding. She said she would email the reception and that I could get in touch with them the next day. The next morning they apologized, didn't charge me for my stay, compensated me financially for the laundry costs and said that they closed the closed the dorm and contacted a sanitation service to take care of the situation. So I have mixed feelings about my stay here. Off course they can't help that the bugs were there, the location of the place was fine and the place looked well maintained and clean. Though I would not choose to stay at a place where the staff is unavailable for such a long time.

Bedsheets and towels were not included, which is very basic and expected from any hotel or hostel. I had to rent bedsheets, but unfortunately, they were dirty and stained. Paying extra for something in that condition felt unfair and disappointing. The mattress also looked suspiciously unclean, and at one point I thought I had spotted a dead bed bug so not a reassuring experience.
