Lisbon Chillout Hostel

Achtung!!!! Hostel ist sehr toll, jedoch habe ich leider BETTWANZEN dort bekommen.

I stayed here before and they must’ve moved the layout around because I didn’t like it at all. Anyhow, overall I enjoyed my stay. I don’t think the staff were as friendly as last time and I didn’t really meet anyone that I clicked with, like I did before. I think the layout has something to do with this. But most importantly, on my last day, after I had left I noticed bed bug bites all over me. I don’t wear much when I sleep so I know it was from this hostel. Not a great holiday experience!

I was backpacking EU for 90 days, they were extremely welcoming, very friendly, beds were clean, staff was very helpful, a right in front of me a girl came with bed bugs from previous hostel, they dealt with it extremely professionally, the owner is really welcoming and friendly. They allowed me to stay extra time to recharge and wait for my bus, the music was so good I had to grab their Spotify. Will stay with them again. 💯

Staff was very nice but the place itself is dirty as hell. Sheets were stained, dust and someone's nails under the bed. You have to bring your own locker. Shower is disponible only on the first floor and there are not much hangers to put towel etc + most of the showers were broken (a little bit of water going). There were some renovations going on the first floor but upstairs was horrifying. There was also a girl complaining about bed bugs biting her. I personally wouldn't stay there again.
