A Room In The City Hostel

Mon expérience dans cet établissement a été extrêmement décevante. Tout d'abord, la chambre était infestée de punaises de lit, ce qui est inacceptable pour un établissement accueillant des clients. Ensuite, le bâtiment est très mal isolé, laissant passer un bruit assourdissant venant de la rue, ce qui rend impossible une bonne nuit de sommeil. Pour aggraver la situation, le volet de la fenêtre était cassé, et il était impossible de le fermer, je vous laisse imaginer l'inconfort que cela peut causer. Je déconseille vivement cet hôtel tant qu'il ne prendra pas les mesures nécessaires pour remédier à ces graves problèmes

Hostel was great overall. The location was just a few blocks to the beach which was perfect, and the rooftop was a huge plus. The only downside is that my friend and I got a lot of bites at night in our private room. We suspected that they were bedbugs since there were a bunch of black dots on the mattress and bed frames, so that was the one downside.

Me alojé en las habitaciones individuales, que es como otro pabellón del edificio. Mi colchón y almohada fueron super incómodos y la peor parte es que he amanecido con picaduras de bed bugs. He llegado a mi casa y he tenido que lavar todo. También era muy incómodo acceder al pabellón a donde estaba la recepción, te pierdes porque es laberíntico y la cocina de nuestro lado estaba cerrado. Las duchas dejaban qué desear ya qué eran hiper pequeñas y había bastante moho. Le falta una vuelta de rosca. Yo no volvería a ir.

Bedbugs waren aanwezig!

Bed bugs! Chinches en todo lado. We had to leave early because of the bed bug infestation. Throwing away shoes and purses and possibly infesting others is not a good feeling. Please don't stay here. Yes, the staff is friendly and everything has the appearance of cleanliness but there are bed bugs.

This hostel seems great and has a lot of amenities and events which make it fun. Unfortunately our experience was tainted due to the bed bug infestation we found in our room. We saw one on our second evening out of the four nights which prevented us from getting any sleep since we were absolutely disgusted. We took some photos and showed the front staff during our check out and they ended up reimbursing us 2 nights which ended up being less than half since the deposits were paid through hostel world already. Not sure the policy on this but they were just as grossed out as us. I doubt that will cover the cost of having to burn all my clothes when I get home but I guess they tried. Hope they fixed that room as well...
