Pros - Beautiful location - Beautiful pool - Sweet host - Food is tasty! - Bathroom is beautiful with a nice shower Cons - Weird atmosphere and not a social hostel, unless you like to smoke the whole day. There were quite a lot of older 40+ men sitting around the pool (also because Buzzas rents out private rooms). As a female solo backpacker, I didn't feel at home because of that. - The mattress was wrapped in some kind of transparent foil? Later I read that there had been bed bugs before…

Great hostel, great staff and clean. Food at the hostel was good too, and the pool was relaxing. Although leaving 3 stars bc I did end up having bed bug bites all over my body, which the staff seem to think was ants. They were accommodating though and let me swap beds. Deffo wasn’t ants as I’d wake up with more bites everyday, although my 2 friends who stayed in the same dorm didn’t have them, so maybe unlucky with the bed I got assigned :(

The hostel is very picturesque, the food is yummy and the staff were very helpful, especially Kay she is amazing and was so lovely and supportive but I have wrote an email to them about the fact I have really bad bed bug bites after staying in their hostel and still had no response a week later..

Good vibe to the hostel but has bed bugs!
