Very social, free beer in social space so easy to meet people. Everyone was very friendly!! It was a fun stay!! The actual dorm room was quite small and one girl in our room had bed bugs…. Staff all lovely and great location!

Really nice rooftop bar for solo travellers. The tour was a good way to meet people. Some things were a bit dingy and unhygienic (bathrooms and bed bugs). Free breakfast. Lovely staff.

There were a number of reviews regarding bedbugs, when we asked the staff they confirmed they had bedbugs a few months ago. While we’re confident there were none in our room, the facilities weren’t great with shower positions almost directly above the toilet. Our room also did not feel very secure as the door opened into a laneway and there was no lock on the door.

‼️They have bedbugs. They refunded me, offered free laundry & gave me a different room but made me cancel my hostelworld reservation so I could not leave a review… was not thinking about writing a review, but I just met two girls who also encountered bedbugs, even though they were in the main buildings (I was in the one in the ally on the right). All they got was a different bed in the same room & their bed got just remade the next day for the next person… So even though the breakfast is fast and good, staff is kind, and the location is great, I do think they have a real problem to tackle with the bedbuds as, with hindsights, people have been mentioning them in other reviews before over the last year. Just cleaning beds and spraying bugspray will not solve this issue and I don’t wish the stress of those bedbugs to any other traveler :

I stayed there for one night and it was okay. There weren’t many toilets in the building for quite a lot of people so they often were occupied also on the other floors. The bed was quite comfortable, BUT after that night I had so many bed bug bites all over my body…….

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hostel. I cannot work out how it is so highly rated as it is easily one of the worst hostels I've ever stayed at. To start with the positives, the staff are wonderful and friendly, and they were very accommodating throughout my stay. It is also in a prime location to access the city's main attractions. Unfortunately, however, the good things end there. Upon check in I was struck by how small and cramped the whole hostel is. My room was tiny with 8 beds crammed into it. There are lockers under the beds, but they are pretty small and so people cannot fit their big backpacks in them. As such, the very limited floor space was taken up with piles of people's belongings. This meant that I could not access my locker at all, and that I had to physically climb over mountains of bags to get to the ladder to reach my bunk. As the rooms are so full of stuff, it is impossible to clean them properly, meaning the floors are filthy and there are bugs like cockroaches running around. The rooms also smell very unpleasant, something they try and mask with disgusting air freshener. The smell was so bad that I actually felt ill. I am unsure if my bed had bed bugs, but I woke up this morning with several small bug bites which were not there yesterday. The rooftop bar is nice and social, but very small so there is limited space to sit and socialise. I ended up checking out early after only one night, something which I've never had to do before in 6 months of travel. I explained my reasons for leaving early to the staff, and they were wonderful and understanding. They refunded me without question. Overall, I didn't enjoy my time here at all and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this hostel. I ended up moving to Saigon Chill Hostel instead and had a much nicer experience. UPDATE: I realised that in order to refund me for the nights I didn't stay here, the staff said they had to cancel my booking on Hostelworld. This means that I cannot review the property, and might explain why they have such high reviews. Anyone who checks out early like I did is unable to leave a negative review. A friend of mine also told me that she was offered free laundry service if she gave them 5 stars

A great hostel, perfect atmosphere and met so many travellers. I have seen the previous reviews claiming there are bed bugs, but after staying in two dorms and being due diligent, I am pretty confident in stating otherwise. I checked in at 01:00AM and with the 24/7 reception, this was absolutely fine. The beds are great, the second building appearing as mini luxury pods! In the main building, upstairs from reception- I would say that the bathrooms are insanely better & that was partially my reason for switching dorms, which the staff were very accommodating of. Free breakfast tastes great also - and not just because it is ‘free’ !!

I stayed here one night, lovely people run the hostel and we had a great time here. The problem is they have bed bugs, I woke up with my body covered in bites, I saw one bug on my bed but just thought it was nothing! My friend also has bites all over her body. I was in room 7, so just watch out!

The hostel itself is really nice, I love the free beer everyday, the towel and the breakfast. However, at night in the female dorm a BED BUG crawled in my leg, I picked it up and brought down to show them and they were trying to convince me it was another insect but it was definitely a bed bug. They were polite and refunded me the money and even pay for my taxi. BE CAREFUL WITH THE BED BUGS! I really don’t think they do anything about it.

I hate to leave a bad review but this place unfortunately grossed me out. I’m not sure if it was bed bugs, but I woke up with the most bug bites I’ve ever had all over my body. On top of that, the shower/toilet situation was pretty gross, and the rooms were very packed. The rooftop bar was probably the best part and the staff were nice. The location was very central walking, but that meant it was extremely loud at all hours and made it hard to get good rest, also the hard bed.

The rooms were fine, staff were lovely. But one of our locker locks didn’t work and was very difficult to open and close. Someone from our group had BED BUGS from here!

I really liked this place! It was my first hostel and I stayed in the all female dorm. There was free water which I really appreciated and the tours were easy to book within seconds. The rooftop bar was a nice place to chill with everyone. The views were gorgeous! There are a lot of stairs and no lift. I heard some people complain about it, but I was on the second floor and don't typically mind stairs in general. The location of the place was also amazing. Super close to everything! I heard about a bed bug

I found bedbugs under the mattress. They apologized and refund us all the money.

BEDBUGS and unclean rooms, RUN A shame to still offer these rooms and beds to people! Provided refund, therefore 2 stars instead of 1

Booked this hostel as it had great reviews on Hostelworld. When we turned up it did not look like any of the photos online. The rooms were very small and had a distinctive smell, when we checked the beds for bed bugs (see recent reviews) there was white powder all over the mattresses. We then questioned one of the workers who did not have an answer for this. They soon revealed that they had previously had bed bugs which would and clearly looked very recent. The bathroom was also unclean with hair in the bath. Due to this we decided to move hostel which the staff were very accommodating with this. However, they soon cancelled our booking meaning we cannot leave a review on Hostelworld. I’m only leaving this review as it is not clear on Hostelworld what it is really like so be careful!

We booked two nights here and discovered bed bugs upon returning to the room in the early hours of the second night. The staff were arguing with us that there was no bed bugs (despite showing photos) for ages. They then moved us to a different room where we found bugs again!!!! They eventually refunded us however we then had to use that money to go and find somewhere else to stay at 3am which they stated ‘was no longer their problem’ and began threatening to call the police when I wanted them to pay for this stay due to the inconvenience. They then immediately cancelled my stay on HostelWorld so I am unable to leave a review on there regarding this issue, probably why their reviews on there are so high. In addition, my friend went back the next day to collect some left-behind belongings and they had remade her bed ready for another customer with the bed bugs still inside! Yuck!

BED BUGS Stayed there a few nights ago in an 8 bed dorm unfortunately a number of us found bed bugs in our beds. The staff gave us a refund and offered us a new room however after this we did not feel comfortable staying here. Also saw reviews of the same thing happening 2 weeks ago

fun social hostel and good location for site seeing and bars nearby. Couldn't hear the bars from my dorm though so did manage to get some good sleep. Unfortunately there was bed bugs so we all came away with some bites. They also sold us on booking the bus to Phnom Peng through them as they said if we booked directly with the local bus company it would be a 'smelly and noisy' local bus which with hindsight we realised isnt true, would have been just the same bus but without there large mark up!

Not the best. Pros: Excellent free breakfast, owner was friendly, and it had a great location. Cons: Dorm rooms are very dark and not clean. Both my partner and I found a few bed bugs. A deep clean would improve this rating.
