   Rooms: bathrooms very moldy, there was a leak in the roof which caused the hallway to be underwater. A random woman walked in the room (not a cleaner and I was with 12 friends so the room was full). Service: the owners (and cleaners, etc.) were very nice. Had a nice talk with them and the breakfast was good, even though it was constantly the same (egg, apple slices, ..). Location: near a tourist trap, everytime I walked out the door there were people trying to get me to eat in the restaurant.

   Avoid this hostel by ALL MEANS POSSIBLE! Staff do not take guest concerns seriously and operate in an unprofessional and unsafe manner. Multiple times male staff have come in the room while women were sleeping. One woman left because of how uncomfortable this made her. I also had a bed below a mentally disturbed woman who barged in the room at 3am, turned on the lights and was screaming and opened my curtain. I saw one of the male staff and was very upset over it and said thats not acceptable to do. The mentally disturbed woman kept cursing about me the entire night and would not stop talking I couldn’t fall asleep. Her behavior was disruptive. I asked further the next day about what had happened and he said he had to tell the woman not to open the curtains. I requested a bed change and the man did not take my request seriously, he just said oh well we will do something. I took the next bed and other women suddenly did not have a bed available and I was forced to move back. I am not even sure if the man who works the desk was telling the truth about the situation, but the way things are handled at this hostel are completely careless and unprofessional. Ladies, please avoid this hostel for your safety and to not ruin your trip go Istanbul.
