Youth Station Hostel - Rome -

A un lado del Metro y solo 15 min caminando de Triburtina, las camas cómodas y se limpian diario, la ducha es buena y tiene agua caliente Todos los trabajadores y el dueño son muy amables y siempre nos apoyaron para llegar a todos los lugares 5/5 en ubicación porque en metro puedes llegar muy fácilmente aunque no caminando pero eso no es problema para mí porque en Roma el metro solo cuesta 1.50 € Es una buena opción si quieres venir a Roma y no pagar tanto. Las literas hacen algo de ruido pero ya dormidos todos nadie se mueve y pude descansar. Me encantó la vibra y el ambiente no se siente como un hostal de fiesta es verdaderamente un refugio de Juventudes lo cual lo hace increíble, no cobran tax de la ciudad debido a esta denominación turística. No bedbugs for me indont know where people got that impression but seems like that is not they case here

Disadvantages: 1. Crazy amount of bed bugs. Not the fault of tourist, 100% responsibility for hostel workers to check rooms properly, steam beds, and change mattresses. 2. The interior looks like a prison. 3. Too expensive. 4. The say that this hostel is a tax-free, but apparently we paid it. 5. You can hear everything from the kitchen, so it’s hard to fall asleep. Advantages: 1. The location is not far from the Center. 2. Kitchen, you can save a little bit of money on that.

Okay experience. bed was decent but a bit loud. You have a locker to lock away your things and padlocks can be rented, and laundry is available for a reasonable price (€12). Comfy pillow, warm shower, and the beds are washed daily, however I did catch bed bugs here which tainted my experience, but it was no fault of the owner or the hostel. Both the owner and the receptionists are very friendly and very helpful. The metro is a one minute walk away and there's a supermarket 30 seconds away. Really nice location. Decent all round, but nothing stood out to me as being above average. 6.5/10.

Marco the owner came into our room repeatedly at night during our stay. After the first night, we wanted to check out due to: BED BUG BITES, mould, no AC, but Marco was aggressive and lied about being unable to cancel our stay so were forced into paying. BE WARNED, the reviews are so high for this on hostelworld since if you have a complaint, Marco will cancel your booking after you leave so you are unable to leave a review. Very strange and unsafe hostel. Not recommended for girls or women.

Aún no se me quitan las picaduras de las chinches que había en la habitación Parte 2 - el hecho de que su respuesta sea una amenaza es preocupante. No recomiendo el lugar, requiere mantenimiento, las habitaciones no están en las mejores condiciones (además de que el personal entra a los cuartos constantemente y las camas tienen chinches. Además de que te cobran más de lo que aparece en la página de hostel world

There was bed bug on my bed

Room keys deactivated on two separate days one time was at 3:00am when there weren’t any staff present. Thankfully found the number and was able to get assistance at 5 in the morning. There was no airflow and a friend left with bed bug bites.

✅ On the side of the supermarket, on the side of the subway in a non-tourist region but very well served by bars, restaurants. ✅ We had to pay for one more night and the staff was super requested and left the room card for us even though there was no one at the reception (if you book through their website, the price is cheaper) ✅ You don’t pay a city tourist tax ❌ Local ok for the price, but if you are looking for a hostel (vibe hostel) this is not the place. It’s not a space with interaction and there’s nothing to do. ❌The cleanliness of the rooms could improve, since in my room the mattresses were infested with bedbugs (I believe the review below is of the person who was in my room). ❌ Something I didn’t like was also that they don’t use duvet, which is not hygienic at all. ❌The night there is no one from the staff at the reception, which for me gave me a kind of bad feeling, and apparently not very safe - anyone could enter the hostel.

TLDR; you are better off going somewhere else because they have a problem with cleanliness, bed bugs, and having staff present on-site. The staff was often absent from the location which made checking in a bit of a toss up. Their credit card system was also offline which was inconvenient but they gave me time to pay in cash and offered to pay the ATM charge. The staff was pleasant overall when they were present. The main issue is the cleanliness of the beds, which had clear signs of bed bug infestation. I was bitten several times. When I let the staff know, they then accused me of bringing them with me. As you can see from the pictures there are clear signs of them being present in the mattresses, including ones I have not been in. Additionally, I have not been away from the hostel for two nights and have not gotten a single new bed bug bite. As I discussed this issue with them in person, they would not initially give me a refund. When I asked if they would accept having to pay to sleep in a bed infested with bed bugs, they agreed with me and let me keep my money and I left immediately to new lodgings. Definitely the worst hostel I have been in during my trip so far, and I have stayed at 8 other hostels so far across as many countries. This could be easily fixed if they just cleaned their rooms thoroughly to eliminate the infestation and had staff present more often.

El olor es horrible porque la cocina está en la sala común y recepción, la recepción no es 24 horas así que si llegas temprano no encontrarás a nadie, tiene chinches las camas de la habitación Africa, lo único rescatable es l a ubicación, el personal es grosero, trate de usar la máquina de lavar pero alguien dejó sus cosas, le dije a al persona de recepción me dijo debes esperar que lo quiten, a las 7 el mismo las quito le dije que si podía usarlo y en dijo ya no es tiempo de lavado 🥹

I found 2 bed bugs in my sheets, very small common area, I think there are better options.
