They don’t change the sheets after a guest checks out. Many of the guests were grossed out due to this and we still stayed there since we didn’t have any other option. The rooms aren’t cleaned either, a lot of garbage which were apparently thrown 15 days back were still lying around. Avoid this place unless you don’t have enough money for a decent hostel.
Llege a este hostel porque el primer hostel * no respeto mi reserva * y me mandaron empujando mis maletas a este hostel/ ME dijeron que el valor era 7$ por noche / despues intentaron cobrarme 15$ / el.WIFI era pesimo. No llegaba a las habitaciones/ el desayuno lo servian a cualquier hora..un dia espere a las 11 am para desayunar / no incluye leche ni cafe / solo te y 1 huevo/ mosquitos y pelos en la ducha ...POR FAVOR OJO CON ESTE HOSTEL..ES UNA ESTAFA!!! LA PEOR IMPRESSON DE CAY
It was the worst hostel experience I have ever had. They overbooked my stay and shoved me to the dodgiest, disgusting and dirty place called Sufi House. They fact that they offered me a slight discount was just a joke. At that moment I had to just stay over because it was too late to find another place. Loads of mosquitoes, non-functioning AC, noisy, dilapidated and plain horror. Avoid it at all cost!

Hôtel dans un état de vétusté avancé. Ne vous fiez pas aux photos publiées par l'établissement. La salle de bain est presque en ruines... En revanche, le personnel est agréable.
Hotel in a state of advanced decay. don't trust the photos posted by the establishment. the bathroom is almost in ruins... however, the staff is nice.
The spot in the city and the view are nice, still too noisy if near to the street. Private room are okay, but duude the dormitory I never saw worst; run for your life
This hostel is in a good location. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. One problem is they use a third party to answer WhatsApp messages and I never got a reply when I reached out to them with a question. They did not answer phone calls either. The hostel world listing needs to be updated as well: 1. they do not take credit cards, only cash. 2. They do not have laundry facilities for guests (no laundry service you can pay for either but they did recommend a place for me).

The staff and the location were both awesome. Unfortunately there was a severe mosquito problem and the bathrooms were not very well equipped.
Propre, bien situé et sécurisé gros bémol c'est qu'il soit trop vétuste.
Clean, well located and secure, the big problem is that it is too old.

Overall, it's is a nice hostel. The staff is kind and try to help you evey way, the place is clean, breakfast will get you full till dinner. My only recommendation would be to pay more attention to small details(the toilet paper was always missing in bathroom for example)
While the room was perfectly comfortable, if functional, it was not at the address I booked. When I arrived at the hotel, "taking me to my room" meant a 5 minute walk through downtown Cairo, though I was assured it was the "same hotel". It lacked certain features that would usually be expected, like a second lock on the door - the single lock there was temperamental- or even a number on the door. (If you forget which door is your room, it's trial and error!) Staff helpful enough.
Fantastic. The best hostel that I have staying in in Egypt. They look like they are doing some remodeling in some of the bathrooms, but otherwise everything was very very clean. The staff were extremely night and helpful! Some of the best I’ve had anywhere I’ve ever stayed.

Un ostello molto carino che non costa un sacco di soldi. Prima colazione inclusa deliziosa. Due piani in legno con un terazza per mangiare negli ultimi piani di un palazzo storico del cairo di fronte alla sinagoga di Adli Street.
A very nice hostel that doesn't cost a lot of money. breakfast included delicious. two wooden floors with a terrace for eating on the top floors of a historic palace in cairo in front of the synagogue on adli street.

I had an amazing stay at Cairo House. The moment I arrived the staff especially Fatehi was welcoming and very helpful making me feel right at home. The rooms are tidy and toilets are very clean I would recommend this place to anybody visiting cairo.

Very nice Hostel, right in Downtown, could be a little bit cleaner according to collective Washroom for example. Cheap in Price. Amazing staff, cool guests, a little bit shy athmosphere. :) Take care and good luck.
Nice stay with great location, nice staff and cozy atmosphere! We spend the time at their beautiful balcony and enjoyed talking visitors. They served us very nice breakfast and helped us to sight seeing around Cairo.
The staff are very nice and super helpful, the hostel has a small roof with a beautiful view and the location is just perfect, close to everything even metro, it’s the center so you can go everywhere from there. Safety is 10/10. Would definitely recommend!

🙂 - Staff friendly and helpful (exceptions, see below) - Complementary breakfast - Rooftop terrace (view not really a banger though) ☹️ - Neighborhood seemed a bit scetchy - Hostel on top floor of building and elevator is quite an adventure… - Had to hold showerhead in my hand while showering. In general room isn’t at all “Deluxe” as advertised - Room has to be paid in USD, if you have only Egyptian Pound like me, they charge you double price!

Nice place, affordable accommodation, good staff
