Villa Banana

The place was infested with bed bugs. There was rubbish everywhere and toilets were disgusting. Staff was also rude

We stayed here with a group. A lot of agreements were made in advance. (Left luggage, kitchen stuff...) We would have everything we needed. But when we arrived, we noticed our rooms did not have a kitchen. The one outside and the one in our other apartment were filthy as were the bathrooms. It looked like the place wasn't cleaned for weeks or even months. Hair everywhere, mold and even fecies in the toilet from the previous visitors. None from our group dared to take a shower. We had an emergency and couldn't reach the owners, nobody was there. On top of all that I woke up with my whole body filled in bedbug bites. I really don't get where the 4 stars come from. We stayed in hostels and apartments all over Croatia and we've seen a lot. But even the basic mountain cabin was cleaner than this place.
