The family dinner was fantastic, and the staff were friendly. However like other reviews here I will say the hostel is a bit dirty, worst of all I got bed bugs and did not realise till we had left. A shame

It was good for its price. I got bed bug bites but I didn’t mind. However, it was really disappointing when they cancelled my booking and promised to take me to another hostel for the same price. But I had to pay 45k more. It was very disappointing. I was crying because of this. Literally got kicked out and they won’t even take enough responsibility Please improve your business process. I hope this won’t happen again because the land lady said that this thing happened as well yesterday.

Loved the owners they are lovely people! Hostel was quiet in the day but was more lively in the evening. Would have been a great stay but we think my girlfriend had bed bugs.

La cena di famiglia ogni sera e il grande motore sociale qui: di solito economica, casual e perfetta per trasformare una notte qualunque a Da Lat in un tavolo pieno di nuovi piani. Kim Cuong House, noto anche come King Kong Hostel, funziona meglio per backpacker budget che vogliono una base giovane, piena, party-friendly, con proprietari gentili, staff utile e molto movimento dopo il buio. Il bar e common area al sesto piano e una vera zona hangout, con biliardo, freccette, giochi di carte, drink, musica e feeling da rooftop. Di giorno puo girare come un grande salotto e di notte come un piano party piu rumoroso, soprattutto quando l'energia del Maze Bar rientra. I letti sono spesso comodi, con privacy pod-style o tende in parti dei dorm, e la posizione e comoda per il centro di Da Lat. Non e un boutique stay lucidato. Il punto dolce sono letti economici, calore family-run, slancio sociale facile, offerte su cibo e drink, e aiuto con bus, scooter, lavanderia, canyoning, cascate e tour stile Mario Kart. Il compromesso e reale: pulizia, stato delle camere, caldo, fumo, rumore e organizzazione possono variare parecchio.

- La pulizia e incostante, soprattutto in bagni, aree comuni, biancheria e camere piu vecchie.
- Puo essere un party hostel rumoroso, con musica e attivita sociale fino a tarda notte.
- Fumo al chiuso o odore di fumo possono essere un problema negli spazi condivisi.
- Alcune camere possono essere calde, soffocanti, buie, umide o senza AC, ventilatori, finestre, prese o serrature affidabili.
- Tour, bus, lavanderia, pagamenti, check-in e assegnazione camere possono richiedere extra attenzione e conferma.
