   I think there's one looser here, and it's not me. It's impossible to have a conversation with these people because they're arrogant and they call the police right away. They should learn to respect other people's things and to mature. THEY DECIDED TO DELETE MY PREVIOUS REVIEW The place is decent, well-equipped and certainly comfortable for sleeping. The problem with Pier Pods Hostel is the staff. I stayed there for a few months, I had many friends inside, but from one day to the next, without any explanation, a staff manager decided to throw some of my personal belongings in the trash for no reason and without even justifying or apologizing for what happened. People you can't find a comparison with because they just want to be right, who lie and point the finger at you as if it's your fault. The owner doesn't want to hear any reason, he's not someone you can talk to because he immediately kicks you out of the hostel and leaves without caring about anything. My clothes have disappeared and no one has taken responsibility, at least to apologize. Nice place, run by the wrong people.

   Lovely hostel, staff very nice and cleaners came every morning and did a great job. When we stayed had only just opened so some things hadn’t been completed yet such as locks on doors etc. unfortunately, a homeless woman did gain access to the building and set up camp on sofa but was swiftly resolved by the owner, I don’t think this is something to be of concern to future guests. Perfect location, beautiful views of marina. Opposite ferry to magnetic island. Had some great guests such as Danny.
