Sunshine Hostel

Do not book here unless you got poor hygiene. The place is filfthy and smelly. I couldn’t even used to bathroom as people didn’t clean up after them. People who stays there have really poor hygiene and the room was smelling even with open windows. There is also bed bugs everywhere. A night was more than enough.

Not very clean, old building. The bathrooms are def the worst part. The showers are quite small (even for a hostel). The staff isn't overly friendly. It gets hot at night and I (not saying this will happen to everyone) woke up with a bunch of bug bites. I've stayed in many cheap hostels but this was one of the ones I had to switch to a better one for lol.

The hostel is a mess, the mattress is thinner than a yoga mat and there were bad bugs in the bed I used so I just let you imagine how bad it was

14th July 2023: I was stung hundreds of times by BEDBUGS during the night and almost ended up in the hospital. Room 2, bottom bed. Unfortunately this hostel cannot accommodate people, it needs to be disinfected first.

Bedbugs crawling on bed and wall when I arrived, place doesn’t look anything like the pictures. So dusty, rubbish everywhere, hallway cluttered with old lounge. I lasted 20 minutes here and that was enough. Avoid at all costs. Ended up booking another hostel not too far away - worth paying a little extra to get a safe room. Oh and the smell is downright terrible. Wouldn’t refund me my nights at all, even though it is obvious I couldn’t stay there. Didn’t feel safe as a solo female traveller…BEWARE.

Je ne peux que confirmer après trois nuit passées sur place que cette auberge est A EVITER absolument!! Les photos sont loin d'être conformes à la réalité des lieux. J'ai eu la chance de me faire dévorer par des punaises de lit pendant mon séjour... cela résume tout!
