We didn’t feel safe at all, so we had to lock our stuff into our own bag. They also charge way too much for airport transport, so just take a tuktuk! Don’t go there! There are way better places to stay.

Recensione completaIf you want to have a family experience completely full of rules, you are in the right place. The hostel consists entirely of rules, signs everywhere telling you what you can and cannot do. For example, you are not allowed to use the kitchen after 8-9 o'clock. Since I was cooking after 9 o'clock, the host came and told me to stop (in the middle of cooking), so there was no point in all my ingredients going to waste and he was very insistent. You will come across warning signs on everything from how to use the refrigerator, how to use the bathroom, how to enter the toilet! Be prepared to smell damp in the room and be breathless all afternoon due to the heat and humidity combined with dampness, and if you want to use AC they will charge you a difference of “30” soles! And even though the room was not completely cleaned, they changed our bedspreads once every 4 days upon request. Check out at “11” am. Very Of course, there are warning signs on the back of the door: "You can be late for 15 minutes, but if you are more than that, they will demand 50% of the money." Then the other officer “supposedly” came to apologize, but instead he reminded me that it was the hostel's rules and said that I would not be allowed to sit on the terrace after check-out, and kicked me out of the common seating area and the hostel, saying it was 11.40! If you think you deserve this treatment and want to spend a holiday with your money without being afraid of the rules, I definitely recommend it!

La terrazza sul tetto è il protagonista: amache, vista sul tramonto, spazio per leggere, cucinare nelle vicinanze e abbastanza spazio per incontrare persone senza essere risucchiati nel caos delle feste. Amazon House Iquitos funziona meglio come una tranquilla base a conduzione familiare prima o dopo un viaggio in Amazzonia. L'ostello si trova un po' fuori dal centro più trafficato, il che aiuta a dormire e dà una sensazione di calma, anche se i tuk-tuk sono di solito parte della routine. Le camere sono generalmente semplici, pulite e pratiche, con ventilatori o condizionatori a pagamento in alcuni casi; le camere private possono includere un bagno, TV o Netflix e accesso a doccia calda. La cucina è un vero e proprio bene, con un grande frigorifero, attrezzature da cucina, un deposito individuale in alcune impostazioni e un'area comune luminosa. L'energia sociale sembra rilassata piuttosto che selvaggia: qualche chiacchierata sulla terrazza, giochi da tavolo, libri, chitarre, amache e persone che passano per le giungle. Il servizio puo' essere duro. Carlos e la famiglia possono essere cordiali e utili per consigli su cibo locale, informazioni sulle barche, ritiro in aeroporto, lavanderia e logistica della città, ma c'è anche un chiaro modello di controversie su spese, tour, accesso alle camere e regole. Buono per i viaggiatori con un basso dramma che desiderano tranquillità, accesso alla cucina e un ripristino sul tetto; meno ideale se hai bisogno di una vita notturna centrale, politiche allentate o extra senza attriti.

- Confermate ogni prezzo prima di pagare, soprattutto per i tour, i passaggi in aeroporto, i pagamenti con carta, il bucato, la colazione, il check-in anticipato, l'acqua potabile, la custodia dei bagagli e l'aria condizionata.
- I tour e i trasporti organizzati attraverso l'ostello possono costare di più rispetto alle opzioni indipendenti, quindi prima confrontatevi con la vostra località.
