The common areas are spacious, with a kitchen for cooking and eating, plus a lounge that feels calm and homey. Some rooms have private bathrooms, and the place is clean, organized, and well kept. The hostel sits in a quiet residential area, about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the center. Parking is available, and the location works well for heading out on day trips while still having restaurants and shops within reach. Comfort changes by room and season. Warm blankets, heaters, and extra wood help on cold nights, but a few rooms can still feel chilly. Street noise, bright light, and thin curtains can be an issue in some rooms, so a back room may be the better pick.
