To be honest, is not that bad haha. The price is worth it. It has a kitchen in the 3rd floor, yeah it was a bit dirty, so just wash everything really good before use it. The staff is nice, it has lockers, make sure to bring your padlock. We didn't find bedbugs, that was my fear

Horrible servicio, el de la entrada es un borde, las habitaciones de arriba sin llave, las camas sucias y malolientes, no limpian, cobran extra por las toallas, que eran enanas y olían peste, no le dieron llave al resto de mis amigos de su habitación. Tuvimos 5 compañeros de habitación más, eran chinches enormes y gordas. Una experiencia horrible que no le deseo ni a mi peor enemigo. Espero que le cierren esto pronto. Salimos huyendo de allí, que encima la puerta de abajo no cierra y puede entrar cualquiera de la calle.

No estaba sucio, pero la cama o las sabanas o la cobija tenían insectos, tengo todo el cuerpo picado, no se si eran chinches o que. Además, a este sitio te envían cuando realizas reserva en otro lugar.

We were sent here by their partner hostel because of bedbugs. This one had no bedbugs but had plenty of other bugs and was just as dirty as the last. I get the sense both these hostels rely heavily on people having no other options. I cannot recommend it.

Beware of BED BUGS! After my stay at the beginning of September, I found not just one live bug on my body, but ~50 bites. Over a month later, I still have dark spots/scars because my body reacted so strongly to the insect bites! You can't imagine the stress and effort it took to avoid taking the bedbugs home with me. I have been staying in various hostels all over Italy for the last 8 years, but I have never experienced such a dirty and unsafe hostel! Why no key for the room? Not to mention that the photos in this Google description are fake. Shall we talk briefly about the service? During checkout, I put the live bed bug on the reception desk and asked what it was all about. A refund or compensation? Nothing! "Oops, sorry" was all I got. This hostel should be closed and an exterminator hired.

This place is gross!! Worst place I have ever stayed in. The outlet near my bed was an eletrical hazard, the bathroom reeked of mold and the sink had obvious mold on its parts, the doors have no locks, the place is thick with dirt and grime, and the worst part: I am covered in bed bug bites after my one night stay! I would never recommend! Just pay more to stay somewhere CLEAN. Wish I could give zero stars.

We stayed at Roma experience hostel from 20 to 23 september (room 102). The room was full of bed bugs and I got bitten on my entire body. Here is a picture of my arm, one week after the stay (I got an allergy reaction on top of it) I do not recommend this hostel, outside of clear problem of tidyness, this hostel is a shame : the pictures on google maps are lies, the location is terrible, there is no kitchen and no sheets on the bed, they just give you a blanket Good Luck to those who still Wants to try the adventure

Horrible experience. Bed bugs are this many that i had Scabies!!

Antro de indigentes. La seguridad es nula. Las habitaciones no tienen llave y la puerta principal está abierta 24/7. No hay agua caliente y la cocina es una sala con un refrigerador, microondas y un baño. Dormí con un ojo abierto por si intentaban sacarme un riñón. Lo bueno es que habían pocas chinches.

Do NOT book this hostel. My friend got beg bugs from the beds, which smelled like cigarettes and old musty men. They told us to email them for a refund because we did not stay all of the nights (we left a night early because of the bed bugs) and never refunded me. This place will TAKE your money.

Es pésimo lugar, no lo recomiendo, las camas tienen chinches el personal no es del todo amable (somo hay una persona amable en todo el establecimiento)

Un desastre! Pongo un 1 porque no me deja ponerle un 0. Las fotos no coinciden con el lugar, estaba MUY SUCIO. Me han picado muchas chinches y ni siquiera tenía agua caliente en la ducha! He pasado por lugares "baratos" pero ninguno fué tan pésimo e inhabitable! Con un mínimo de esfuerzo en limpieza el lugar podría mejorar, pero literal parece que te mandan a dormir a la calle de lo sucio que estaba. Además, cuando llegué a la ubicación del lugar, NADIE contestaba al timbre, tuve que llamar al número de teléfono que ofrece booking y al atenderme de muy mala manera me dicen que "habían tenido problemas en un baño" y que me dirija a otro Hostel, un tal "Roma Experience Hostel" en el que he dormido y del que he padecido la estadía de la manera antes descrita. UN COMPLETO DESASTRE! Lo único bueno que tenía era la ubicación y al enviarme al otro Hostel, quedé a 20 min más lejos de donde había reservado en primer lugar. Lo tomo como un aprendizaje y no volveré a buscar tanto precio, pero de verdad este lugar no debería estar habilitado, no puede ser que me lleve chinches a mi casa en ropa y maleta, mucho mucho asco! Cabe añadir que como se vé en la foto, debajo de la cama había ropa sucia de huéspedes anteriores y restos de plásticos y comida. Un ASCO.

The place is dirty, there's no toilet paper, no hot water in the shower, no lock... there are BEDBUGS though. I am covered in bug bites, I guess I'll be bringing them back home :/

I am covered in bedbug bites after staying at this place. The photos they posted are not what they actually have, the place stinks, and it isn't very well cleaned.

This place is unsanitary and smelly and has moldy showers and poor cleaning. If you want to bring bedbugs back home this is your place! I have stayed at many other places and this has been so far the worst. The location is convenient but don’t risk it, there are better places to stay. Also the doors to the rooms don’t have locks and the lockers are tiny.

This place is in a good location and the personnel were attentive. The pictures do not correspond to the actual place, I had a couple of bedbug bites, the toilet was dirty and smelly and the shower was super dirty and moldy. I know this isn’t a hotel nor do I expect the same service but the cleaning was really neglected, honestly not the best experience compared to other places I’ve stayed at.

Watch out for bedbugs! The experience itself was alright for the price we paid: members of staff were kind to us, the bathroom was okay and the location was quite convenient. But as mentioned in other reviews, you wake up covered in bug bites which are from bedbugs. If not super careful, you can bring those back home in your suitcase and into your own bed, sofa, building.

I have stayed at my fair share of hostels but this one has honestly turned me off of hostels. The rooms and washroom look absolutely nothing like the photos, black bold and chipped paint cover the walls. My first night there I woke up covered in bug bites. 1 washroom shared by over 12 people and there is no soap in the washroom. And no where to set down your things in the washroom as every surface in there is soaking wet 24/7 I did not feel comfortable at all in this hostels and would recommend anyone go anywhere else. Never have I ever felt so gross after taking a shower. Clumps of hair and old razors just left to sit on the washroom floor.. absolutely disgusting place

La cama estaba llena de chinches, no pude dormir, me picaron en toda la cara

VERY BAD!!!We do not recommend this place!!! I never write reviews but this time it was too much! We found bedbugs !!! in accommodation yesterday, so we had to wash and disinfect all our belongings… my boyfriend is furious about it…There's no place to eat, and only one bathroom for more than 12 people, leading to waiting times of over 30 minutes. I'm truly sorry to share this, but we've had a negative experience. I have visited many of hostels in my life but this one is not a hostel… I hope the owners will wake up one day and understand the needs of people… me I don’t want spend my holidays on washing my stuff as I’m going to another country tomorrow morning!!!

Die Bilder sehen auf den ersten Blick toll aus & man denkt sich was ein schönes Angebot, aber hold up: - 1 Dusche/Klo pro Stockwerk mit 6 Zimmern à 8 Betten (3er Zimmer hat ein eigenes, aber Waschbecken fehlt) - Wechseln keine Bettwäsche nach längeren Aufenthalt - Hochbetten wackeln EXTREM - Ungenügend Steckdosen im Zimmer (die Küche schließt um 00:00 dh da kann man auch nicht mehr laden) --> überlegt es euch gut, es ist fr eine Tortur + BETTWANZEN

Absolut alles negatives stimmt. Das schlimmste Hostel, was ich je erlebt habe! Dazu noch Problem mit dem Bettwanzen. Man müsste nach ,, nach Hause kommen,, sich damit beschäftigen,dass man die Viecher nicht mitschleppt. Also alles sofort waschen oder desinfizieren. Einfach Eckelhaft. Sanitäre Anlagen eine Katastrophe. Keine abschließbare Schränke. Auf extra Bitte hat der Wirte meine Wertsachen im Büro gelagert. Keine Möglichkeit von Frühstück kaufen....aber es gibts Küche mit dem Kühlschrank (selbst Kochen). In der Nähe keine Attraktivitäten, aber gute Verbindung zum Bahnhof und Mitte ( so 15 min mit der Straßenbahn).

Pas d'eau chaude, bruit constant du personnel même au milieu de la nuit. Les photos sont mensongères. J'ai eu en plus le plaisir de ramener des punaises de lit chez moi depuis leurs lits. Pas d'échelle pour les lits superposés. N'y allez pas, peu importe le prix, la sensation d'inconfort est trop forte pour avoir l'impression de faire une bonne affaire.

Ok.....i dont want to be that person.... but... where to start. The rooms and beds were dirty. I got bitten by spiders, mosquitos and bed bugs. 14 total in one evening alone :))) The bathrooms...ohh man... some people should be learned how to use a toilet and to clean hair in the shower. Very dirty. The location is good because its only a 15 min walk to the Colosseum. However, it gets very noisy in the evening because of traffic in the street. Very expensive for the quality. The only saving grace is the staff. They try to work with what they got and were super nice to me. But i dont recommend it.

Worst place I’ve ever been to. Bed bugs in the rooms and our toilet was broken. The shower aswell. It wasn’t fresh at all. Do not even think about sleep at this place, you’ll regret it from the first minute. We payed a lot aswell. Its not even worth it even though you’d get it for free.

Later edit: the day after coming back I noticed clusters of small red dots over my left arm. The next days they became worse and worse and I realized I also have similar bites over my right arm and other areas of my body. The doctor said it is most likely to be bed bugs. Sorry guys but it's such a shame to let this happen to your guests. I'm not coming back. Okay guys, here's my honest opinion. I liked the place and it was really fine for Rome prices. I don't see why so many bad reviews. The personnel is young and friendly, they try to do their best and keep it clean. We arrived to check in early (at 11) but they let us take a shower and let our luggage at the reception desk. It was very kind of them. The beds were comfortable and I didn't have problems with bed bugs, I asked the other guests, too. The terrace is really nice and also the bathrooms are modern. What I didn't like: the blanket didn't have a cover, so I'm not sure they actually wash that. The location was a little far from the touristic places (15 minutes walk to the closest metro station) but it was okay. There was no soap in the bathroom and in the kitchen they always had an almost finished liquid soap to which they kept adding water. We didn't have proper lockers for our luggage, only very small ones. Also, the photos on the site are really not accurate. But for young travelers that want an affordable place to sleep in Rome and also make friends, this is a good choice.

Couldn't give zero stars, so let it be one for the cheap price. Stayed one night and woke up with bedbug bites all over my face and body.

To begin, I had booked a 4 bed dorm, when I arrived I was informed that there was no four bed room on the property (even though it was advertised on the hostels own website). Instead of my four bed room I was instead thrown into a fourteen bed room (the hostel made no measure to refund or compensate me for their own mistake). This was fine until I noticed the air conditioning which was practically nonexistent, including one small duct in both parts of the room (which made no impact whatsoever) and one fan which squeaked all night long. This was all bearable until one night one of my roommates found a stash of cumrags on top of the rooms wardrobe (which the hostel attendant was nice enough to clean up). Overall for €122 I got a way larger room then I had booked with no apology or remorse, practically no air conditioning, a variety of assorted excessively used tissues and I may even have bed bugs from the hostel bed! The only positive thing to add was the location, neatly tucked away behind Termini station. For around the same price I’m sure their are much nicer hostels and B&B’s in even a more centrally located area. I WOULD RECOMMEND ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!
