Don Gato Hostal has a relaxed, cozy setup with a yard, hammocks, and a usable kitchen. Breakfast is included and can be simple or genuinely good, with coffee and tea available during the day. The place sits close to the center, so it works well for walking around Granada. The strongest part is the people working there. Reception is warm and hands-on, with practical help for trips, transport, and day plans. Italo at reception is especially helpful. The breakfast service also gets strong marks, and the common areas have an easygoing feel that works for reading, working, or unwinding. Rooms and shared spaces are generally kept clean, with fans in beds in some dorms and workable showers. It can be a good fit if you want a calm base with social space, a garden feel, and easy access to the city.
