Het was vies. De douch had koud water voor ons. De douches en wc roken niet lekker. Ons bed kraakte super erg vanwege het plastic over het matras. Daarnaast onder het bedovertrek waren er sporen te zien van bedwantsen. Ik heb ze niet gezien in mijn bed zelf, maar ik vond het niet fijn om hier te slapen. Het bed en laken waren vies en hadden vlekken. Onze handdoek ook. We sliepen met zijn tweeën in een bed en het deken was veel te klein. We verbleven 2 nachten, maar dat was al te veel.

One of the most disgusting hostels I've stayed at. - Bedding was filthy, I asked for it to be changed because of blood stains. - The washing machine used for the bedding was full of rust and you could smell it in the sheets. - Dull breakfast, I would not even consider this as breakfast. - Worms coming out of the drains in the bathrooms, a clear hygiene risk. - Filthy, smelly, and unclean bathrooms. - Tiny toilets, not enough space for the door to close when you're in, and they are filthy as they are not cleaned properly. - Shoes not allowed in the rooms, but floor is dirty nonetheless. - Mattresses wrapped in the cheapest anti-bedbug plastic they could find. Every little move on the bed makes so much noise, it's like you're sleeping on plastic bags. There are much better alternatives but they have clearly cheaped out. - Deceptive photos: beds are clearly not as big as they show in the pictures. - This is not a capsule hostel, or even capsule-style. It's just a hostel with bunk beds. There are no capsules, this is false advertising. EDIT: To my surprise I note that the hostel manager actually doubles down on my review, so I have to provide more context: - Female dormitory room: This was an error made during the booking process on my part, the property informed me that I would have to pay an administrative fee of $15 upon arrival to change rooms, which I accepted. - Bedding change: This is a false claim. I informed the person on duty, waited for more than 30 mins and seeing as no one attended, I went back to ask them to change my bedding. - Bathrooms: Multiple reports by me and the other people in the room. - Dirty floors: Multiple reports by me at the reception and nothing was done. I was in fact told to go buy my own indoor slippers if I didn't like walking barefoot. - Room layouts: Deceptive photos, as many other people have pointed out in their reviews.

One the worst hostel I've been in 6 month+ SEA. And Singapore is maybe the best city, what a contradiction. Other hostels were like 5 to 10 times cheaper, and the same amount better. You pay the higher price to access: - Staff that cannot smile - This same staff will remove, without blinking, the breakfast at 9:25 while you are serving yourself because you wake up late (finisjes at 9:30). No worries, at 9:29 it will be impossible to get coffee as the lady will be looking at you like "what do you want it is too late!!" - The dorm is so small you hear everything from all your neighbors. And a certain type of tourists in this place won't care about respect of others for the vast majority and make noise on their phone late night / snooze 17 times from 4 am their alarm o clock. Whilst it is not the hostel direct fault, it is by poorly designing beds to have the highest number available, therefore more noise. - A bedroom where your bagpack needs to be on your bed because of the greedy owner that poorly designed the bedrooms with absolutely no space for anything else, even 2 people at the same time is problematic. - The locker is key specific, and small, which means your own locker cannot be used like everywhere else in asia, and you need a 10S$ cash deposit to get the key. My 70L bag did not fit inside. - No cold water fountain (they sell overpriced bottles) - No hot water in shower ("someone used everything before you", or "did you turn on the button?", same gentle lady. - Dirty sheets / pillows, maybe because everybody has to put his dirty bad in the bed while sleeping. I was honestly surprised they still provide free shampoo in the bathroom. Anyway, I went for the cheap option, do not reproduce this mistake, pay the little extra dollar so you can be alone in your bed, not with your bag/noisy neighbor/bed bugs.
