Secret Garden Backpackers Sydney

If you want to have a good sleep, don't stay at this hostel. The rooms are very dirty, moldy and there is barely any ventilation. Also, there were lots of insects (cockroaches, bed bugs) in the room so you couldn't sleep at all.

Horrible experience for the last three nights. We had arrangements to get a room for 11 with all my 10 group mates. Could not be arranged. Not the worst, but a pity. In our room it happens to be really humid, unhealthy and full of bedbugs and cockroaches. Had three sleepless nights as we already paid. When complaining they say it is because of the old building and they cant help us. Is that service? Sunday was supposed to be free pancakes from 9 to 11. Pancakes were only at 10.15... shame we had plans at 10. Dissappointed yet again. As an experienced backpacker I experienced a lot, and i am used to some circumstances, but this is unacceptable. Do not go here.

Literally the worst hostel i've ever stayed in. My friends told me there was bed bugs here and so I went to cancel a week and a half out from the date but they would not let me and hung up on me when trying to make a compromise on the non-refundable situation (They wont refund you under any circumstances). I ended up staying there because I had paid for it and I got bed bugs. The woman who was on the service desk was extremely rude and did not care and told me to f off.
