Chiangmai Midpoint Activity Hostel

Would not recommend, room didn’t look like pictures, rats outside the hostel, air conditioning leaking, no ventilation in room or windows, beds were rock solid and had bedbugs, bugs mosquitoes etc in bathrooms, social area in the hotel wasn’t great either, our clothes were taken when we left them to dry even though there was nowhere in the room to hang them, asked to move rooms and was told no, overall awful experience. However it was close to shops, bars and restaurants

There were bed bugs!! We had to spend the whole night doing laundry and we didn’t get to sleep! They did give a refund and were very apologetic.

This is a really nice hostel, we stayed once when we got upgraded from a 16 people to 4 people dorm and it was amazing, the room the staff and the activities so we booked again. We stayed in the 16 people room and to our surprise, the beds were so uncomfortable and we saw BEDBUGS crawling on the walls and even a dead one in the “clean” sheet. The reception closes overnight and it was too late to book anything else, but we got many bites and they followed in our stuff and had to get rid of them…

This hostel was very nice, nice staff, nice staff, the beds were not the best but considering the prices they were ok. We stayed there 2 times, and the second there was BEDBUGS crawling on the wall and dead ones in the bed. Kept me and my friend from sleeping. Didn’t get stung but we confirmed that it was in fact bed bugs, and we found some in our stuff later on. We saw in the comments there was also other people with some but staff did nothing, and for us it was too late to find another hostel.

Property was nice but nit social the stay was good till I found BEDBUGS there on my last morning. Staff wasn’t helpful at all and suggested just shaking out my clothes to get rid of them. Had to go and wash everything. Other Girl in dorm also discovered bites Hot water was also not working on most days

The beds are rock hard and the sheets smell like they weren't washed after the last guest. The showers and toilets are dirty and were not cleaned once during my stay. During my second night I started itching when I was lying in bed: BED BUGS!!!! My friends in other rooms had the same problem! Worst hostel in Chiang Mai!!!!!!

This is a great lowkey hostel. It’s too bad more people don’t stay here because the facilities are great, the location is even better, and the staff are lovely. There’s a slightttt chance one of the dorms has bed bugs… but it might just be mosquitos. It’s hard to tell. Hopefully by the time you stay there that’s all dealt with!
