Staff péssimo. Percevejos e insetos de cama no edredom e colchão. Barulho ensurdecedor. As pessoas fumam nas áreas comuns e não respeitam as regras. O dono e a recepção parecem não se importar. Não recomendo.

El cuarto estaba lleno de chinches, todas las camas sobre todo estaba lleno de estos bichos. Dormir así es bastante difícil

Eu escolhi pelo localização, e isso foi bom, estava perto de tudo mercado , academia. Eu tive problema com ataque de percevejos e carrapatos , que nunca soube como era esses bichos pensava que era mosquitos que me picaram , nisso passei mto mau, e tive que tomar anti alérgico e fiquei com febre passei mto mau até descobrir o que causou isso. O meu quarto era simples acredito que os quartos melhores sejam melhor tinha problemas pra pegar o wi-fi. E tinha uma goteira nos dias de mta chuva. Eu fiquei mtos dias no hostel. Acredito quem vai pra ficar poucos dias ,talvez nem soubesse desses problemas . No mais e um local familiar eles tentam sanar os problemas. E fazer melhorias.

Our experience at Esquina 8 Hostel was far from what we had hoped for during our visit to Florianópolis. Here's a breakdown of the issues we faced: Severe Bed Bug Infestation: Our intention to stay for two nights was cut short after just one night due to an overwhelming presence of bed bugs, leading to a distressing situation with over 120 bites. Unexpected Expenses: The low cost of the hostel is misleading. The aftermath of dealing with bed bug bites includes potential costs for dry cleaning and the possibility of having to discard affected clothing, making the stay much more expensive than anticipated. Disappointing Service: Upon discovering the bed bug issue, the hostel's initial solution was to offer another room, which did not assure us of a bed bug-free environment. The refund process added to our frustration; we were asked to pay for the first night again at the reception, despite having already paid in full, to then be processed for a refund for our entire stay. We did not agree and sorted things out with booking.com. They refunded half the price, and told me that the owner of hostel did not even got back to them. In summary, while we had hoped for a budget-friendly and enjoyable stay at Esquina 8 Hostel, the reality was a challenging experience that included dealing with bed bugs, unexpected costs, and a service response that did not meet our expectations. For those considering a stay here, we urge caution and recommend reviewing other travelers' experiences as well.
