NY Moore Hostel

No recomiendo ir. En primer lugar la atención lugar muy mala y de mal trato. Por otro lado, la limpieza del lugar un desastre, debido a que hay bed bugs y en el espacios comunes había suciedad. Por último, la ubicación no es buena; nada cerca de la zona y el barrio con mucha basura y aún muy poco desarrollo.

Posiblemente el peor hostel que visité en mi vida. La suciedad del exterior, de las áreas comunes y de la habitación no las vi en otro lado. Para empezar, la entrada al hostel estaba llena de basura y que si bien estamos hablando del exterior, es algo que podrían limpiar tranquilamente. El ascensor todo lleno de mugre y en las habitaciones bedbugs por todos lados y el baño lleno de moscas. Un desastre. Dejando eso de lado, las camas son aceptables en comodidad y la zona está conectada con dos estaciones de la línea L (Morgan Ave y Montrose) con lo cual en 35-40 min estás en cualquier lado pero el hostel se siente un poco lejos de todo. No hay muchas opciones para comer o supermercados cerca.

This is a lovely family run hostel in a great location close to the subway, record stores, vintage shops, cool bars and restaurants. Very suitable for budget conscious travellers - Bushwick is much cheaper than Manhattan or neighbouring Williamsburg. It includes clean spacious rooms (cleaned every day; no bed bugs), good wi-fi, warm powerful showers, free coffee, a kitchen, pool table and luggage facilities, as well as very helpful friendly staff. Bushwick is a very cool, safe and affordable area in Brooklyn; the L Train, which is c.400m away, will get you into the East Village in about 15 min. In a city full of insanely overpriced tiny hotel rooms this is a great find, will definitely be back. The weather; but unfortunately the hostel couldn't control this!

I stayed in a 5-person room, which was fine - there were 3 individual beds and 1 bunk bed. It's a social hostel, with a game room and common area. It's about a 15 minute walk to the L and J/M trains, and 30-ish minutes to Midtown Manhattan. Unfortunately, I woke up with my left arm covered in bed bug bites! For a hostel this large and busy, it's going to be near-impossible to get rid of the bed bugs. The neighborhood is light industrial, it's not unsafe, it's just kind of bleak.

Nice large rooms. Able to store food in a fridge is nice. Private bathroom to the rooms is awesome. Everything was real clean and no bedbugs.
