Paradise Villas Koh Rong Sanloem

Der Strand ist wirklich toll. Klares und flaches Wasser! Das Personal im Restaurant geht gar nicht. Sie sind überhaupt nicht bemüht. Das Menü muss man sich selbst holen und um eine Bestellung aufzugeben findet man nie jemanden. Das Essen braucht sehr sehr lange bis es da ist. Habe mich dort überhaupt nicht wohlgefühlt. Es ist in dieser Gegend aber leider die einzige Möglichkeit etwas zu essen. Das Zimmer (Villa am Strand) hat keine Ausstattung. Nicht einmal ein paar Gläser oder einen Wasserkocher. Das Zimmer ist eher wie eine Hütte gebaut. Mit sehr großen Spalten. Daher kommen nicht nur kleine Tiere rein sondern auch die großen. Hatte eine min 30cm lange Eidechse neben dem Bett. War überhaupt nicht toll dort zu schlafen. In unserem Bett waren Bettwanzen. Uns wurde gesagt, dass das nicht sein kann. Mein Sohn hatte aber am ganzen Körper diese Bisse. Preis-Leistung finde ich nicht in Ordnung.

Location is awesome - best part of Saracen bay no doubt. Reception is beautiful and the restaurant food is INCREDIBLE! Very very good (solid 10/10 on food) and very generous portions. The staff is also very nice. Some bungalows are open, that means you have to deal with animals. Most of them are fully closed and they call them “VIP”. Be careful while booking. For me that’s fine to be in open ones, and after many days in similar bungalows in the area, I thought I would be comfortable there. I have no problem with geckos, mosquitos or ants. However, I was severely attacked by bedbugs during the night. Woke up itchy, with over 40-50 bites all over my body, that still remain after 5 days doing antihistamines 2x/day. Staff told me they normally don’t have bed bugs and it should be fire ants. But no. I consulted doctors and send pictures and it’s def bed bugs. I did a severe reaction (never had been bitten by those before) that included lack of breath capacity.

L'endroit est magnifique, les staffs sont très sympas, et la nourriture bonne, mais il y a des puces de lit. Nous nous sommes faits piqués pendant la nuit par des puces de lit/ BED BUGS. J'ai prévenu l'hôtel le lendemain de mon départ pour les prévenir mais ils ne m'ont pas pris au sérieux, en me répondant qu'il s'agissait surement de puces de sables. Mais je suis 100% catégorique, nous nous sommes fait piquer pendant la nuit, dans le lit.
