There were bed bugs. I didn’t sleep there the last 2 days of my reservation. No one at the help desk. Lost out on my money. Will never return

The location of the hostel was good. It was close to restaurants & shops. It also very close to the train station which was good unless you are light sleeper. The JR trains lumbered by 24/7. There was no real area to socialize. But the biggest problem was bed bugs! My 1st stay at the hostel I was attacked by bed bugs but I shook it off as a one off occasion so I stayed again on my next trip through Tokyo. Regrettably it wasn't . I was once again bitten up my more bed bugs.

I saw a bedbug near me when I woke up, so despite liking the location, I won't be staying here anymore. Aside from that, there's only one toilet, and the AC doesn't filter into the sleeping areas well.

The host/manager for this location was ridiculously nice and hospitable. I had to check in late after hours and he provided information for how to get in after hours. The location is right outside of a metro with access to the JY line and a 7/11. The hostel in and of itself is really for if you are looking for a place to sleep at night. There was common space but it was smaller (expected). There are lockers with keys and then space for your luggage. Felt very safe. However, the hostel had bed bugs, full grown bed bugs. I have never seen them before and realized this towards the end of my stay when I found 3 in my bed. The hostel moved me to a different location quite quickly and refunded the money that it cost to take my clothes to the laundry mat. I wasn't expecting the refund for the laundry mat so that was a pleasant surprise. If it wasn't for the obvious this place would get 5 stars. I am lucky that I realized they were bed bugs and I do appreciate how they resolved the situation timely but it still a little scary to think that I could have brought them home.
