South Beach Rooms and Hostel

Rude staff, bed bugs caused us to be out of our rooms for hours while they fumigated and was so rude during that process. French staff steals your stuff out of your room.

Am Anfang postiv überrascht, aber es gibt überall Kakerlaken und in unserem Zimmer auch Bettwanzen. Der Mitarbeiter war unglaublich unhöflich, als wir ihm von den Bettwanzen berichtet haben und meinte nur, was er jetzt da tun soll. Konnten das Zimmer wechseln, aber der Umgang war wirklich unglaublich frech. Die Küche ist sehr sperrlich ausgestatten, die Kühlschränke komplett vollgestopft. Ohne die Bettwanzen wär es ein ok's-Hostel.

Sadly it is more expensive than what it is worth, and when you get there they charge you more money. It had never happened to me but I had to pay more. Upon arrival the employee was very rude to me and reluctantly explained the policies to me. After arriving at the room there are not even any curtains, all the light and noise from the street comes in because the window was broken or they broke it so that the air conditioning duct came out. great STaff. always friendly people. best location. bathrooms not so clean tho and I got bed bugs from staying here 3 nites. someone was able to access the room in the night while everyone was asleep. one of the guys pretended he was asleep and was aware of what the intruder was doing, going through everything. fortunately , we had our bags in the bed with us.

The hostel is rough around the edges and grimy. However it has all the basics covered. They can definitely use a renovation, especially in the bathrooms. The room and general areas need to be better maintained overall. It was a place to lay my head for a cheap price but I spent the visit worried I would get bed bugs (it seemed possible given the state of the room and hostel) didn’t see any myself though. If you have the option financially, I would look elsewhere. The location is wonderful though. Could really be a gem if they cleaned it up more. Also the front desk seems generally understaffed. The staff were lovely and kind. The cleaning people were doing their best. Not their fault the hostel is a mess, I believe it’s an ownership issue

I checkout earlier of this place because I did 3 bedrooms and they weren't clean, with a weird smell, bad AC, one of them had a bedbug on a bed or was already full. The last bedroom was cleaner but when I take my shower the water stays into the bathtub because it is clog. The shower head doesn't stay in place because the plastic holder was broken. I don't recommend this place. I quit and went to another hostel.

Horrible, nous avons payé environ 160 e par nuit av mon amie pour être parqué dans une chambre insalubre, il y a des cafards, des punaises de lits, c’est sale, extrêmement bruyant. Nous avons été et éveillé toutes les nuits par des hurlements, nous avons été arnaqué sur le prix car nous étions censé avoir un coffre dans la chambre, des équipements de cuisines, des lits doubles, et au final rien n’était à disposition. Cet endroit est un scandale, nos voisins de chambres on appelé la police pour vol et nous étions aussi à deux doigt de le faire car la porte était laissé ouverte pendant le ménage sans surveillance. Cet endroit a gâché nos vacances je ne vous le conseil vraiment pas. De plus on a prévenu Booking qui n’a absolument rien fait et l’hôtelier nous a fait croire à un dédommagement jusqu’à la fin pour au final dire avec mépris que nous avions cas publier les photos et que ça lui était égal. Nous avons également demandé des couvertures qui sont arrivé le 3 eme jours. Ce taudis est juste scandaleux.

The location of the hotel is amazing but the hotel itself was gross. It was hot and the little portable air conditioner kept the room between 78 and 82... The hotel was not clean at all. We forgot to check the beds and 3 people out of our group of 6 were covered with bed bug bites the next day. It was cheap and a good location but not worth the unsanitary and humid living conditions.

The experience for a first timer isn’t so bad. You pay for what you get. Only bad thing is that upon coming back into my room and climbing into my bed I saw a dead what looked like bed bug on my sheets. I guess housekeeping needs to do a better job.
