   Do NOT go there. All the good reviews you see are bought by offering free drinks. The photos are not how it is in real life. Very small rooms, uncomfortable beds, disgusting bathroom (mold, towel on the floor that’s rarely replaced) and you need to make your own bed (so why is a bed €50??). The staff is more concerned about their own partying then about helping the guests. At the check in, it felt als if the guy was directly annoyed by us. He did not even show us where we had to go to the room.

   Beware: this hostel collects positive reviews by offering discounts and free drinks. I stayed for a week and it was the worst hostel experience of my life. Some rooms are covered in mold; after a few days I got so sick I had to switch rooms in the middle of the night due to breathing issues. Hygiene is poor overall, and the humidity in the rooms needs to be addressed. On my first night, a girl threw up in her SLEEP after being given 12 shots at the bar. Staff need to act more responsibly.

   Location but to be honest, that's the only nice thing about the place - Loud music from the reception bar every night, echoing through all floors & rooms - People coming in at all hours being obnoxiously loud in the corridors & stairs - The hostel makes you pay £15/ day to store your bags - You can't control the AC temperature was actually too cold and the hostel refuse to give you a blanket - You can't bring food into your room Just not a typical welcoming hostel experience, definitely a party centric accommodation. Staff beg you for a good review...

Staff beg you for a good review...

   Beware – Theft and Filthy Conditions As a well-traveled guest, I’ve stayed in countless accommodations around the world, but my experience at More Ipanema was by far the worst. We experienced theft inside our “private room”, and when we asked to review the security footage, we were told the cameras “don’t work” — despite the fact that there were numerous cameras clearly turned on and facing guest areas. It was obvious the management was trying to cover up a known theft problem rather than help resolve it. Beyond the safety issue, the rooms were disgusting — the smell of mildew and mold hit us the moment we walked in. The walls were stained, the air was damp, and the place was crawling with mosquitos and roaches. It’s clear this property is poorly maintained and unsanitary. I strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs. There are far better and safer options in Ipanema for the same price.

    アクティビティがたくさんあり、ほとんどが実費のみしか掛かりません。ポンジアスーカルなど、有名なところも行けるし、毎日いくつもアクティビティがあり、昼はハイクやトレッキングやボート、スポーツ、夜はクラブなど、飽きが無かったです。友達も作りやすいし、スタッフもみんなフレンドリーで楽しかったです
