NyNa Villa Kampot

AVOID - honest long review but please read if your booking! The room was unclean on arrival, the first night i was bitten all over my face by ants/bed bugs. With my face swelling so bad (two days on and one eye is still closed up), the hotel owner advised “you must be allergic to something”. Yes, bed bugs, which i can confirm i seen crawling on the day of check out. They use mattress toppers to try get around the problem which is what i noticed, so this clearly isnt the first time someone has complained. They changed the bedding on the second night and i was advised i could leave if i wanted to but i would be charged for two night as i advised them at 3pm on the 2nd day of my stay. Day 1 - Also, i woke up incredibly late on the second day because there was a full on club/party below the hotel or next door which went on until gone 10pm. I told the hotel manger at 7pm as i couldn’t even attempt to sleep, as the room was literally shaking from the vibration from the speakers. He told me it would be over soon, then stopped responding. So, just to be clear i arrived at 6pm on day one and didn’t sleep at all (music from live bar below), day 2 i was told i would charged for two days either way. So i had no choice and being so exhausted to find anywhere else to stay. so aside from location this place is not fit for sleeping in. I never leave reviews but my experience overall was horrendous. And the hotel “manager” owner didn’t care, just wanted his money and for me to go. Also, the staff don’t speak english, so unless the owner is there you wont get any help. Sorry for harsh review but i have to be honest for the people booking here! I never write reviews, but i felt i had to for this place.
