Acredito que a Booking deveria publicar o comentário que apresentei sobre a má higiene do Wot Nomad Social, sobre os percevejos nas camas a "passear" à noite para picar as pessoas que pagam por um bom serviço, não para serem expostas à doenças pela FALTA DE HIGIENE da estrutura, que só quer o DINHEIRO dos "trouxas" para enriquecer e causar DANOS aos outros.

Ma mère a trouvé une punaise de lit au premier étage sur son lit donc je pense que quelque chose est à faire pour ça. On a demandé le changement de chambre. Les personnes à l’accueil ont fait comme s’ils n’étaient pas au courant de ce problème de punaises pourtant j’ai lu les commentaires seulement après la réservation et on s’est rendu compte seulement après que de nombreux commentaires en parlent déjà . Et l’accueil de certaines personnes de l’accueil est vraiment horrible on a l’impression de ne pas être les bienvenues. Passer outre ces quelques problèmes c’est un bon établissement.

A última vez que fiquei aqui hospedada o quarto estava infestado de bed bugs. Acordei com as minhas colegas de quarto em pânico vendo os bichos a trepar paredes e andar pela cama. Pensei que não tinha sido picada mas foram aparecendo ao longo do dia. Tenho mais de 10 picadas só num braço e estão pelo corpo quase todo. Nunca tinha visto ou entrado em contacto com estes insetos mas após fazer a minha pesquisa estou preocupada com a falta de atenção do staff com a situação, é necessário tomar ações imediatas. Foi a primeira vez que me aconteceu algo deste género neste hostel, onde já fiquei hospedada várias vezes. Apenas espero que sejam tomadas as medidas necessárias para resolver a situação e prevenir que volte a acontecer.

Dirty, no one came to clean the beds before the next person arrived until they got there. which is concerning, since they have had reports of bedbugs, you would think they would be on top of the cleaning. otherwise it was fine, no curtains on the beds, not a hostel that goes above and beyond but if you are looking for someplace cheap for a night or two it does the job.

I stayed in a female dorm room for 3 nights. I was worried about the bed bugs after reading so many reviews about them. But actually the room was comfortable and very clean with a small terrace. The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. The hostel is only a 5 minute away from the bus stop and the metro station. I’ll definitely come back~

We begonnen met goede moed. Een goedkoop hostel, centraal gelegen, met veel beloofde faciliteiten. Wat kan er misgaan, toch? Alles. Alles kon misgaan en alles ging ook mis. Het begon al bij het binnenkomen van de kamer. Ik dacht dat ik alleen met mijn vrienden in de kamer sliep maar ik was mis. Er was nog een hele familie bedwantsen die erbij kwamen! Niet één of twee, een heel gezin. Er waren nog andere insecten in ons bed. Een gratis dierentuin kan je zeggen. En alsof dat nog niet gezellig genoeg was, rook het bed naar urine. Iemand had uit schrik voor het hostel in zijn broek geplast, wat heel begrijpelijk is maar het personeel zag dit niet echt als prioriteit om schoon te maken. Frisse nachtrust? Vergeet het maar. Je slaapt niet goed als je elke vijf minuten denkt: Is dit jeuk of word ik opgegeten? Maar dat was nog niet het toppunt. In 1 van de kamers zat ook een onbekende man. Niemand wist wie hij was. Gewoon een extra roommate cadeau, zeker? Hij kwam even kaka doen in een van de kamers, lekker gezellig. Dan de liften. Wat een avontuur. Je stapt erin en je weet niet of je beneden aankomt of in een andere dimensie. Het is niet veilig. Ik stap nog liever de chinese muur volledig op en af dan dat ik in die lift kruip. Op de dag dat we vertrokken, besloten ze trouwens de lift op slot te doen. We moesten zes verdiepingen naar beneden sleuren met onze koffers. Een gratis workout, zullen we maar zeggen. Het personeel? Niet bepaald vriendelijk. Een glimlach leek een hele moeite. Alles werd in de gaten gehouden door tientallen camera’s. Ik voelde me net een Big Brother-deelnemer, maar dan zonder geldprijs, eten of waardigheid. Regels waren er genoeg en vooral boetes. Tot 4000 euro als je bijvoorbeeld per ongeluk iets verkeerd deed. Per ongeluk ademhalen op de verkeerde manier? That’s 2K, dankuwel. En die faciliteiten waar ze zo trots over doen op de website? Zwembad? Gesloten.. Gezellige bar? Ook dicht. Het enige dat open was, was mijn portemonnee. En die werd met liefde leeggezogen. Kortom: als je graag slaapt tussen de insecten, houdt van mysterieuze kamergenoten en je vakantie wil doorbrengen in een streng bewaakte gevangenis met slechte roomservice, dan is dit hostel helemaal jouw ding. Voor de rest: nooit meer. Echt nooit!

Welcome in hell I am someone who enjoys writing good reviews. Unfortunately, I cannot help but be extremely negative about this hostel. Usually, I prefer to share bad experiences verbally so that they can be heard and acted upon immediately, but this is something that you as a traveller need to know. In a nutshell: this hostel leaves much to be desired when it comes to safety and hygiene. On Thursday, 17th of April, we arrived at this hostel with a group of young travellers (who were on a school trip) in the early evening. Based on subsequent events, we decided to relocate in the middle of the night in Lisbon: -SECURITY REASONS: while some of our underage boys were unpacking their bags in a locked(!) room, two unknown adult men intruded into the room, using a card that should normally be inactive. The two men used, without saying a word, the students' bathroom facilities and climbed on beds to charge electronic devices. I don't need to draw a picture of these things: this is NOT DONE. -HYGIENE REASONS: (adult) bedbugs were discovered in 3 different rooms. This, of course, is also NOT DONE. It means that the bedbugs have been residing there for quite some time and (most probably) are reproducing. To deal with such a problem, there is really only one option possible: close the hostel and clean it COMPLETELY, provide new mattresses, bedding, etc... I will keep quiet about the pubic hair and brown spots in the beds, as those are ‘smaller’ issues at the moment. The poor receptionist still tried to help us, but was not allowed by her managers to help in any way.We had to find accommodation in Lisbon for 66 students in the middle of the night, all by ourselves. This is really sad: managers who manage, is that giving all of YOUR dirty jobs to your staff and letting all of YOUR customers down? Pathetic. Well look, what do you do about it? At least write an honest review so that future travellers know they are walking into a piece of hell when they take a step in this hostel. I sincerely hope that certain authorities finally dare to make the move of declaring this hostel uninhabitable. A LOT needs to change in this hostel, A LOT. Hopefully this can be a first step towards making it (at least) habitable. Btw: you can find this adult pet (pictured) in one of the beds. Have fun searching for it!

Stayed in room 301 for 4 nights in January 2025, got bitten by bed bugs all over the body. There were small blood stains on the sheets. Also noisy after 9pm, they do not follow their own rules. Avoid at any cost!

Avoid at all costs! It’s dirty and noisy! During our three-night stay, the bedroom was not cleaned. We returned home covered in bites, most likely caused by bed bugs. It is also very noisy, especially if you stay in a private room as they are located in the staircase, next to the elevators. The management team simply does not enforce the supposed quiet hours between 10 PM and 10 AM. This means constant noises from other guests at all hours of the night, particularly when the hostel welcomed a large groups of schoolchildren – a frequent occurrence, as flagged by previous reviews.

Okay, so I never leave reviews but the stay at this place was warranted. I started at the WOT Patio in Lisbon and I was put in a 4 bed room with no air condition, in the middle of summer, with a window that barley opened. This was listed nowhere on the booking and when I tried to get the front desk to accommodate me (because im 5 months pregnant) they were less than helpful and even resisted giving me my money back since this isn't listed on the reservation. I finally asked if I could switch to one of the sister properties and they found me a booking. The biggest cons about this franchise is that many of the advertised amenities are false. WIFI is terrible and never connects. I even had a Portuguese sim card and the wifi still wouldn't connect 90% of the time so working is impossible. The events that they say they host never happen. I stayed for a week and 1 out of 7 nights did they actually do the events that were listed on their calendar. Also, the board games they offer are all lacking in pieces like half deck of cards etc. I am pretty sure they had bed bugs. 1 of the roomates I stayed with found a bug in her bed, looked it up and it looked exactly like a bed bug. She took it to the front desk and they did nothing about it. When I left I had clusters of bites all over my body. All of the staff really just seemed like they could care less to be working there. Which, as someone that has stayed at other hostels that are comparable, the staff was way more inviting and just really happy to work and see new guests. I feel like this may be a culture thing within. The kitchen is ill-equipped. Literally has nothing to actually cook with. Barely any basic utensils or pots and pans and the biggest disappointment was that all of my food was either eaten or thrown away that I bought. It was 90 euros worth of food. I was told various reasons why my food was gone i.e it was in a grocery bag and needed to be individually labeled (which is posted nowhere and there were also other grocery bags in the fridge), that the dates were wrong on my label because I dated it in US terms etc. It seemed like everyone knew that my food was eaten or trashed and felt guilty about it but everyone was nervous to give the real reason why. I believe someone ate it, honestly. They did end up rectifying this because it was at least 60 euros worth of food gone (certain items were miraculously still there- but not labeled). So they gave me cash which I appreciated. All in all, I will not be staying here again, I advise anyone who books to really consider how much they actually need the amenities like WIFI they say they offer because most likely they won't be up to par.

While the start of my experience with this hostel was positive for the friendliness of the staff and the nice room, it sadly took a very bad turn. After the first night, I found myself full of bites, I thought: mosquitos. Then the second night, more bites. Then I started getting suspicious they could be bed bugs, so I asked the receptionists. They said they were going to check but they had never had issues with this. Third and final night: I was covered in bites. My companion was strangely unharmed, so we found that was strange, nevertheless from the shape, type and colour of the bites, it was clear it was BED BUGS bites. Especially as I got bitten only at night. I had included pics of the bites but GMaps had me remove them - to show that I was covered from face to toes, literally. We were not able to find any actual trace of the insects however they're extremely difficult to spot. The only thing we did find were small blood stains on the sheet, which is an indication of their presence. Anyway - after this became clear to us, it clearly meant this was going to be a tragic homecoming: washing and freezing all of our belonging we were travelling with, not to mention my body, after a month, is still recovering from the bites and their scarring as they're really infective and I've had to take medications for weeks. I made Hotels.com aware of this and they were very prompt in trying to get a refund for us, however the hostel simply did not care at all and told them to pretty much sod off in a pretty rude and non collaborative and not professional way. I was overall disappointed from the lack of interest they took in this and I feel like this is something they need to be made accountable for. Hence my review.
