Avrei voluto dirlo in reception ma ieri mattina sono dovuta andata via all’alba prima che aprisse. Non ho dormito tutta la notte perché sentivo prurito ovunque e ho trovato 2-3 insetti piccoli rossi sul mio letto, immagino cimici da letto visto che poi nel pomeriggio ho iniziato ad avere punti rossi su tutto il corso (allego foto solo del braccio ma ne ho anche sulle gambe e schiena) che mi stanno dando molto prurito fino a sanguinare e sono dovuta andare in farmacia a comprarmi una pomata. Dovreste rimborsare!!!

THEY HAVE BEDBUGS!!!! I REPEAT: BEDBUGS!!!! Other issues too that would bring the score down for a normal hostel but that’s nothing compared to the fact that they have BEDBUGS!!! Check the google reviews if you don’t believe me!! We’re in the middle of a heatwave and the AC turned off at midnight which meant it was boiling by early morning, with no way to fix it and no staff present. No shared bathrooms in the corridor, so if the room bathroom is occupied you’re out of luck. Other smaller issues too, like having to pay separately for linens (in cash), loose electrical sockets, mattresses too small for bedframes etc. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Horrible experience!!! Had bed bug in our room and really put a damper on our vacation. They did nothing to accommodate this. We also even showed the worker and he stated that they didn’t have a bed bug problem. Then we wake up to a ton of bugs crawling on the bed and wall. Also getting bitten.

Lo que no me gustó fue que la primer noche que dormí me picaron las chinches en la segunda noche no tenía ni baño, se había clausurado tuve que ir a otra habitación a bañarme y la segunda noche me destrozaron las chinches. Hablé con el encargado de la recepción, se disculpó y me ofreció un café como recompensa, lo cual yo escribí y exigí que me devolvieran parte del dinero, ya que tuve que comprar cremas y medicación por las ronchas que tenían todo mi cuerpo y nunca me respondieron dos días después de escribir eso escriben un mensaje automatizado diciendo que les alegraba que hubiera estado con ellos. Y que me extrañarían. Esto me hizo indignar mucho más, por lo cual ahora voy a subir las fotos de cómo quedé por dormir en ese Hostel. estuve el resto de mi paseo por Europa con las ronchas en mi cuerpo, rascándome y sintiendo ardor hasta el último día que me fui de Europa el 31 de mayo.

If you look at recent Google reviews several site a bedbug infestation. When I asked for a refund it was denied on the premise that I haven't checked in and seen them myself. The owner denied all claims and said the reviews were false. Why would I enter the building and risk my belongings getting contaminated. The owner provided no evidence that the claims were false or that any type of treatment had been done. They didn't listen to my concerns or validate my hesitation. Look at the reviews yourself and decide to go somewhere else

Bedbugs. Lack of hygiene in toilets and beds, they charge you €3 for bed linen and €3 for city tax, yet it doesn’t include hot water, basic soap or shampoo, or guarantee that you aren’t going to be covered in bedbug bites the next day.

Everything was great with the staff and service, but when I went to sleep there were animals crawling all over the bed and pillow. They looked like bed bugs, fleas, ticks, or something similar, but it was disgusting. It was already very late, so there was no staff available to ask for a room change. There were also bloodstains on the pillow. I don't know if it was from the previous person who slept in that bed or from one of those dead animals on the pillow. It was disgusting to have to see all those animals and sleep there.

I woke up and saw a bed bug next to my face. Also I saw their excrements all over the linen It’s awful and I DONT RECOMMEND anybody to stay here since it’s not hygienic and it seems like they don’t do anything about it So I decided to change the place for the second night Also they ask their visitors to write positive reviews in exchange for free lockers or something so I wouldn’t believe them

1. BED BUGS on bed on arrival. they change me room to a similar room on a different floor. no upgrade or partial or full refund 2. on arrival they charge me more than what quoted on the Booking reservation

My body was filled with bedbug bites. Other guest had same issue. Kitchen facility lacks basic proper cooking tools and utensils etc. washing sponge was very old. For hygienic reason should’ve replaced every week.

The night that I stayed at the hostel bedbugs bite me all over my body. I did the claim to the receptionist to ask for a refund cause it involves health risks for me and he promised me a refund but after almost 1 month from my stay I haven’t received any news. I contacted booking customer service with the same complaint and ask for refund and replied to me that the hostel and booking can’t come into an agreement, meaning that the hostel is not willing to comply with the refund or a compensation at least for the medication I was requiredd to take cause it caused me a skin infection afterwards.

Bettwanzen im Bett!!! Ich bin am ganzen Körper gebissen worden! Eng, schmutzig, wenig Luft im Zimmer, unbequeme Betten und Kästchen ohne normale Regale.

Estuvo muy mal. Me mordieron las chinches. Ya había leído en ese lugar que picaban mosquitos pero no eran mosquitos. Eran chinches… porfavor no vayan a este lugar, las chinches no se mueren solo con cambiar sábanas, tienen que cambiar los colchones. Solo porque ya no le dio oportunidad de poner una queja, pero eso es POCO SALUBRE, incluso podría llegar a transmitir fiebre BOBONICA… No hubo agua caliente y tuve que esperar a que encendieran el boiler… fue malo malo malo. Lo que me ahorré me lo gasté en pastillas antistaminicas y pomada de hidrocortizona. Esto pasó el pasado 23 de septiembre del 2025 el cuarto 08/108

I didn't like the fact that there are BED BUGS! I stayed in a female dormitory (room 4) for 4 days and the girl on the bottom bunk brought to my attention (on my 3rd day) that she had been bitten by bed bugs and showed me the bite marks. At the time I didn't have any visible bites myself, but the day after leaving the hostel. I too realised that i had actually been bitten all over my arms aswell! This is a disgusting level of cleanliness! I've since seen other reviews mention the BED BUGS and are gaslit by the staff at Milano Ostello - that they're no bed bugs in this hostel - THIS IS A LIE! Bathroom was also not that clean. The shower is rubbish - water coming out cold & slow. They also charge you separately for sheets when you check in, and a padlock for your locker is 4€ - so bring your own. Also the pictures online do not reflect the true state and condition of the property. My advice is spend a bit more and go somewhere else. If youre on a budget and you don't mind being bitten by bed bugs, then stay at your own risk.

BED BUGS INFESTATION!!!! I stayed here and got multiple bed bug bites. Several guests had the same issue. Be careful before booking. Tried rooms 5, 7 and 9 they all had bed bugs!!

No general toilets, Mouldy rooms, Bedbugs, old matress

Stayed less than 3 hours due to bed bugs. I was bitten all over my arms and back and couldn’t sleep. Staff denied responsibility, claiming it was mosquitoes, and refused a refund despite clear evidence of unsanitary conditions. I had to leave in the middle of the night without another place to stay. Extremely unprofessional handling of a serious health issue. I would never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid this hostel.

Only one toilet per room for 6 people. No other toilets in the floor, when occupied.

There were bed Bugs Overall- terrible! And it was not just my bed, others I talked to had the same Problem When I lebt early because of that the staff only reacted like " hm, sorry for that" and I Donut think the will change anything about that.

Six man dorm was awful. Definitely had bed bugs, I’ve got a lot of bites. Additionally the room smelled bad, musty, wrong. This smell lingered on clothes after I left the hostel, clothes I didn’t even wear but left in my bag. Had potential, but that room was terrible. Also why don’t you just include the price of sheets and linen in the booking price? So unwelcoming to show up and immediately pay for non complimentary bedding. Has anyone ever checked in and brought their own bedding? What do you think people are expecting to pay for, just the mattress? A mattress with bugs. Sorry, would strongly advise against this one

Non mi sono piaciute affatto le condizioni delle stanze comuni e del relativo bagno e soprattutto le condizioni dei letti di tali stanze. Quest'ultimi risultavano molto rumorosi e sia il cuscino che il materasso erano molto scomodi. Il problema più grande è stata la lamentela di un ragazzo all'interno della stanza, il quale affermava di aver visto una cimide da letto, ponendomi in una situazione di disagio e sconforto, non riuscendo a dormire per nulla bene. C'è stata una vecchia lamentela riguardante le cimici da letto, quindi non sarebbe neanche la prima volta. Mi dispiace molto per com'è andata...

Le dernier jour, j’ai eu quelques piqûres de punaises de lit malheureusement. Inciter les gens à nettoyer la salle de bain après leur passage

I went on a long trip and couldn't check in early. That's okay, it's the rules. When I checked in, they put me in a room that was very damp and unclean. The bed was horrible, and it was impossible to sleep. I asked to change rooms and the guy at the reception desk promptly helped me. That night, when I was lying down, I felt something moving around on me. I turned on the flashlight on my phone and there were lots of cockroaches and bedbugs. I was horrified and wanted to get out of there, but it was 2 in the morning. There was another bed available and I changed beds to try to sleep. I found cockroaches all over the room. Terrible experience. In Milan, there are no good value for money accommodations.

It's absolute hole! Booked because the price was much higher compared to places that looks like holes, so I decided it must be better but it's not. My advice is to avoid! It's poor, exhausted and bad smelling place. Bed bugs! Was too late when I saw comments about that. It may happen anywhere, sure, but when it happens all the time at the same place, it's a general problem. After I told them and showed all the blood spots of the insects that I killed, they promise noone will use the bed before they treat it. Just an hour later the bed was already given to a guy without any treatment. Told them what they do is a shame, went back to the room and without being allowed moved all the belongings of the guy to another bed to protect him. Lies! First I ve been told that AC cannot work more than 3 hours and every 3 hours I have to go to the reception and ask for another 3 hours. It's a lie - we made them turn it on non stop. They don't give you a controller. Scammers! They will charge you extra for linen per night no matter you use the same smelly and old ones. "Clean" towels also smell very bad. It's poor. Beds are shaking every time one of us turn around, so cheap and unstable. Some night lights don't work, some outlets too. There is no normal soap in the whole place - just an awful foam that you have to push up to 20 times to have enough to 'wash' your hands. Kitchen is wide enough but extremely bad equipped, noone cleans the refrigerator, there isn't a normal knife even, only one tea spoon, only one cup for cappuccino.... No pressure of water in the shower - it's like an autumn rain, not like good shower that will clean your body as it is supposed to. Surrounding area is bad, total ghetto So.... Don't!

I had to leave early at around 4 am cause my bed was FULL of bed bugs. My room was 8, bed 1. Please clean this bed!

J’ai trouvé des punaises de lit et j’ai été piqué. J’ai du écourter mon voyage. Ils m’ont remboursé mais ce n’est pas normal qu’il ne traite pas l’hôtel.

I woke up with 20 itchy bites and I'm highly concerned in retrospect that I may have been bitten by bed bugs. Also the air-conditioning is controlled by the staff so if its summer and you're trying to sleep at night, good luck. The bathroom was OK.

During the first night, we found bugs in the bed and saw them crawling on the wall, which was quite unpleasant. We reported it to the reception in the morning, and they reacted quickly by giving us a new room. After that, everything was fine and we had no further issues.

There were a bedbugs and we knew it before going to sleep from our roommate 💀 The receptionist who was at the evening started arguing and insisted on my friend. He said like “Yes we know that we have them but we did the cleaning”. When we asked why they didn’t tell us earlier about this issue, he said like it wasn’t his shift. In the morning when the previous shift came, they said that they didn’t know anything about bedbugs (at this time we smelled chemicals from another room). All people who was there before were bitten by these creatures. So please think twice before coming here.

no primeiro dia uma moca estava toda picada falamos que poderia ser pulga ou semelhante pois vimos uma.....porque m a roupa de cama estava muito limpa , mas os edredons nao .. no dia seguinte veio a equipe de limpeza.mas nao trocaram o edredon....dai....eu achei mal...porque a Europa ja teve epidemia de percevejoa.ou jogaram fora comeram minha comida da geladeira, ....e eu contava com a manteiga e queijo pois cheguei tarde...alguem poderoa ficar na recepcao durante a noite. me trocaram de quaeto qdo solicitei tinha uma mulher doida no beliche em cima ....minha cama no segundo quarto tinha o estrado inclinado horrivel falei mas o homem da receocao fez cara de paisagem. erraram a data do meu che kout pois tinha 2 reservas me ligaram pra tirar as malas....urgente e eu estava no lago De como....gerou um stress em mim.nao tem mesa pra fazer mala.

ATTENTION PUNAISES DE LIT: Nous devions rester deux nuits, en plus d’avoir très mal dormi, nous avons découvert des punaises de lit (bed bugs). Nous avons décidé de partir le plus vite et l’hôtel à proposé de rembourser la 2nd nuit. Mais ensuite je me suis fait balader entre booking et l’hôtel. L’hôtel est situé en sous sol : la nuit il y a pleins de moustiques et c’est sale et humide. J’ai eu la surprise d’avoir un bout de crotte dans le bidet en arrivant dans les toilettes de la chambre (voisins de chambre pas propres). Les draps sont tachés de sang (une alerte d’un signe de punaises de lit) Les lits doubles ne semblent pas très solides. Il y a des pompes de relevage qui se mettent en route dès que de l’eau est tirée pour l’évacuer vu que c’est en sous sol. Entre les moustiques et le bruit, j’ai mal dormi. Une fois rentré, j’ai dû scrupuleusement nettoyer toutes les affaires pour diminuer le risque d’avoir rapporté des punaises. L’hôtel devrait fermer et s’occuper de totalement désinfecter ses chambres et de proposer quelques rénovations d’hygiène.

The bed had bedbugs!! Completely unhygienic and now im covered in spots after sleeping there for three days. On another story, a different receptionist (a guy), randomly came into our room at night (a fully female dorm), without knocking first. So not only is the place precarious in terms of cleanliness, but also on boundaries and even safety.
