Blue Diamond Hostel

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff, food and facilities were lovely. The only problem we had is that we had to pay for our AC which was more than the room itself and we had ants and bed bugs in our room, which didn’t really bother us much. We let the front desk know so I doubt this is a problem anymore as the staff were extremely accommodating. Would definitely recommend the Battambang tour which is displayed on the front desk!

There were bedbugs in the bed and I couldn't sleep.

The area is pretty close to attractions which was nice. Food was not great especially for price, we had a private room and had to move due to bed bugs.

Hôtel très agréable pour séjourner à Battambang ! La piscine est parfaite avec le bar et restaurant. On ne peut que conseiller de venir y manger c'était très bon et pour un prix raisonnable ! L'endroit est très bien géré et le personnel était très efficace. Le premier soir nous avons paniqué car nous avons trouvé 3 punaises de lits dans les draps ! Mais le personnel a réagi immédiatement et nous a trouvé une autre chambre cette fois-ci sans visiteurs ;)

Seriously don’t stay here. BED BUGS. I’ve been bitten several times by bed bugs. Furthermore, I arrived and the room wasn’t remotely clean yet they gave me the key to the room. No apology, nothing, they didn’t even notify me when the room was cleaned, I had to approach them 3 times before they told me. Bear in mind this is 2 hours after check in. It stunk of cigarettes, the rubbish bin was full, bed sheets everywhere, dirty floor and bathroom. No wonder this place breeds bed bugs. Avoid avoid avoid.

The staff is nice and the rooms are pristine clean, I don't know what it is with the bedbug psyop but it's definitely not true. Nice swimming pool and chilling area (420 friendly) and an amazing rooftop with a 360 view of Battambang 10/10 recommend

You get what you pay for really, the hostel was very dirty (nail clippings everywhere, bugs, grime and generally just unclean) not to mention the bed bugs in the room. Personally, I would avoid this place as it cost me $15 to wash all my things to get rid of the bed bugs so if I was you I’d invest that money into staying in a nicer place.

Bedbugs everywhere. Very dangerous area Renting a scooter was a scam Swimming pool water don't get changed for years. Flesh eating bacteria is a real threat.

Very bad experience, the room was dirty and full of mosquitoes. They were burning mosquito coils during the night and when I complained about it they did nothing. The girl in the reception was rude with me and she refused to call a taxi the day I was checking out. Also be aware from bed bugs, I had several bites.

Bedbugs by the millions under my bed...we booked 3 days but stayed only 2 nights. Worst experience ever

They didn't seem to have our booking when we arrived. First night the whole bed frame broke which they tried to repair but then broke again next night. Got moved to a room which had bedbugs and got moved again to a huge v nice room in the end. Sunbeds all a bit old and shabby looking. Breakfast ok but not great.

STAY AWAY Bedbugs and rude staff

BEDBUGS!!! We stayed here one night and had a bed full of bedbugs, after complaining at the reception the drunk guy, who claimed he was the boss (the obese one), didn’t even say sorry and was super rude. We checked out the other day. But we’re still having struggles with itchy bites all over our bodies. (See picture) NO RECOMMENDATION!!!

BEDBUGS! Worst place we’ve seen in 30 days of Cambodia. Would not recommend. One guy of the staff (the obese one) is completely rude and out of line. Had to leave after one night and they tried to scam us with the refund.

Good service when we arrived, the pool is amazing and the host is nice! Although there was bed bugs in our room and we asked to be reimbursed immediately. Looked very clean at first but make sure to always check for bugs cause they can get in your things and you can cary them everywhere afterwards.... Food also took a while to arrive due to short staffed. It was also very far from center and had to take tuktuk 15 mins to get to a store.

Cheap price, good break fast, nice room. But I got bitten by bed bugs. :'(. Changed the room for free though. Two rooms for 8$. :)
