Bedbugs in this hostel! Also weird smell in the room. Bathrooms are fine, though, and there is a nice vibe in this party hostel. Location is also good, close to the beach.

BED BUGS!!! There are bed bugs here. I informed the reception and they didn't look surprised or even look to confirm it. They just said ok like it was a common problem. At least they got all my clothes and gear washed and dry. Talking to other people in the dorm, they said there was bed bugs in the next room and just switch people from room to room. And the best part is that they canceled my booking on Hostel World so I couldn't leave a review to warn other travels.

The worst hostel i’ve ever been. * I had bed bugs in my bed - they didn’t care, they treated me ugly :( * the bed is uncomfortable, its so hard, reminds me the bed in my camp in my military service. *The bathroom stinks ! * the room is dirty * you can’t control the AC, you can freeze or its too hot, you choose. (no remotes in the rooms, so stupid) * they smoke in every place in the shared are! * the towel they provide it’s not something you wanna use. (Microfiver, not a real towel) * it is so loud over there at night, I could barely sleep. Even at 2 in the morning. * there is no sheet for blankets. So probably they don’t wash it. If felt dirty. * if you need anything after 23 you screwed… (like changing bad because of bad bags) * no kitchen * dirty, loud, smoky, not nice stuff, uncomfortable, inconvenience, good luck.

This hostel has a great location close to the beach with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. There were nightly events and day tours you can sign up for. Other than that the facilities are average. Showers and washrooms have mold on the ceilings and things seem pretty damp. People were smoking all over the common spaces which isn’t ideal. My friend and I wanted to clarify about past reviews about bed bugs to get some reassurance about their cleaning protocols. We weren’t given great clarity, they seemed to deny there were any and told us people make these things up. Unfortunately the next day we were told that one person had bed bug bites and we decided to leave. My recommendation to this hostel is to make sure your staff are honest about things and take accountability. Manager we talked to was great, we were impressed. Edit: instead of amicably working through a critique, this hostel likes to aggressively gaslight their guests!

For a party hostel it wasn't too bad. Our room was clean and no bed bugs but we heard from others that both locations had it (honestly not too surprised since it's a hostel, lots of people in and out). The bathrooms were clean and great service. The music was a little too loud for me and they seemed to play lots of techno at night. I like the music bingo and bar crawl nights. It's a good way to interact and they had a few tours you could book through them which made it easy. I would stay there again.

Christ this is the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at, and this coming from somebody who has stayed in countless hostels and never leaves a review. I stayed here last year and was immediately I was greeted by bed bugs crawling on my bed and onto my luggage. When I woke up in the morning there was a bed bug crawling on my pillow in front of my face. I notified the staff and they moved me to a different room and took my backpack to clean with no explanation or apology. I spent the entire day making laundromat runs to clean all of my clothes and other belongings. It only got worse after this. That night, I attended a hostel event, only to notice the staff on the other side of the fence steam cleaning several backpacks presumably from other backpackers who faced the same problem. I will say: good for them for cleaning, but the rude staff really threw me off. Throughout the night, the entire staff would almost exclusively talk and joke about them and their coworker’s intimate sex life, and it kinda made me and other travelers uncomfortable. Lastly, I had booked a tour through this hostel to visit other islands with a set “be here by this time” departure time. I had time that morning to go out and be back to make it on time for the tour. However, they left way earlier than the set time without notifying me or waiting for me despite me already paying. I did not find out until the girl I was with got a text message from a girl on the tour saying they were leaving. I rushed back to the hostel as soon as I could and when I got to the desk I was yelled at by an Australian staff member who was blaming me for missing the tour. He was rude and argumentative when I did not show any initial sign of aggression. He told me I couldn’t get my money back and that I should’ve known because they sent me an email about the early departure — I checked, they didn’t. Eventually, they did agree to rush me to the tour boat after one of the Thai staff suggested, but it was very much a “ugh okay I guess we’ll do this for you” type tone. I can tell I felt like an inconvenience to them. On top of that, the general vibe of this hostel was trashy and it’s full of high/drunk party kids if that’s your kind of scene (given it is a party hostel in Thailand lol). I did have a drunk man in my dorm mistakenly crawl into my bed in the middle of the night. Shit was not fun, especially as a solo female traveler!! Decent location and tours offered, but everything else I experienced definitely does not make this hostel worth it. They also cancelled my trip on Hostelworld even though I did stay here, so I couldn’t even leave a review there. Hence why I’m here. Please, please, please find somewhere better.

Private room not worth it, there was not even blankets (only day spread) or proper sheets. We asked about extra sheets and they said they dont have.. which hostel does not? The day cover seemed filthy so I could not use it. The sheets were 100% polyester which made it impossible to sleep as it its hot. Also AC was smashing cold (could not adjust it). Also customer service was strange, some people did not even answer back when you asked something. I heard there were bedbugs (not in our room). In the evening the social party was cool but in the morning there was vomit in the hallway.. there are much better hostels or homestays for the same price if you want private room.

Personally I wouldn’t go for this hostel again. It’s okay and definitely a good place to party but the bed was so uncomfortable and I ended up getting bitten loads either by mosquitos or bedbugs. Staff were really friendly but I also found it a bit strange we weren’t allowed to wear shoes in certain areas because my feet got so dirty. I think if you’re just looking to party then it’s perfect but otherwise maybe look elsewhere for a better price! :)

I was told I would have my bag cleaned for bed bugs. However my bag was turned inside out with everything rearranged. I was told it would just be the outside. This was a serious invasion of privacy

Firstly, shout out to Connor, Belu and Sophie who were amazing reps that always conversated with me. Socially this is a great place to stay, now the dorms are a whole different situation. We had some kind of bed bugs or biting ants, everyone who stayed in our room complained about the multiple bites we were getting during the night. We had someone ask for the sheets to be changed and was instead moved to another room, where the receptionist commented on it being biting ants. Would not recommend.

Bed bugs! There are bed bugs here and the staff acted like it was a common problem. At least they had all my stuff washed and apparently steamed. However, talking to other people at the hostel, they said that the hostel just moves people from room to room when there are bed bugs.

Het is een heel sociaal hostel met leuke activiteiten in de avond, helaas vond ik de eerste avond bed bugs in mijn bed wat de ervaar minder fijn maakte. Ze hebben de volgende dag al mijn kleren op hun koste gewassen

Great hostel with a perfect location and lots of events organised, but lots of rooms have bedbugs! I told the staff that I found bedbugs and they came to check the mattress and gave me new sheets etc., saying they would leave the mattress in the sun to kill them. If you're really worried, I'd give it a few weeks so they can get the situation under control before staying here. Other than that it was a great hostel!

This place is currently infested with bed bugs, found in multiple rooms and they’re trying to hide it. The beds are also rock hard and the showers sometimes work (low pressure and no water at times). The place also smelled like stale beer (to be expected) and the doors were never locked. The location is a 10 min walk from AoNang Beach, there are lots of stores and shops around! I really like how they had tours, nightly social events and that the bar closes at 11pm. Great for socialization!

I loved this place overall I thought this place was great I would recommend it to anyone another room had bed bugs and the way they felt with it was like no other place I’ve seen so even thoe that happened while I was there I’d still tell people to book and stay here one of the best hostels all round

I normally don't write a review even though I have a bad experience, but I decided to write after finding same complaints like mine. There're bed bugs in female dorm room. I found bedbug bites after checking out, then I sent a message to them but they said it could be sandflies. Unfortunately it was 100% bedbug and I had to go to the hospital and pharmacy. I believed they handled this issue, but I recently read a review about bedbugs from Booking and Google. Please note we're not ok with bedbugs even though we stay in the cheap hostel under 10 euro.

Bed bugs!

There's only one thing which made my staying experience bad. It's the first day of my vacation andI got bitten by bed bugs in the bed, mostly likely it's the blanket. I told the staff, they changed the bed sheets and blanket for me but I've got bitten and that's enough to let the bite last for my 10 days trip.

This place is pretty nice!! the beds are comfy but you’ll have some friends join you at night (bed bugs).
