Bed bugs.

I honestly don’t know where to begin. This place has no air conditioning or proper ventilation anywhere in the building, yet houses over 100 people per floor. I’m genuinely shocked that this is even legal. I initially booked a closed pod but couldn’t sleep at all — it was unbearably hot, and there was absolutely no airflow inside the pods, the rooms, or the building as a whole. They have a heater for winter, but there’s no source of fresh air, no AC, and no ventilation system to speak of. The beds were infested with bed bugs, and the entire corridor had a strong, musty odor due to the lack of ventilation. The bathrooms were appallingly designed — extremely small, poorly maintained, and lacked any basic functionality. There was no place to put soap or shower gel in the showers, the sinks were so tiny you couldn’t properly brush your teeth or wash your face, and the toilets were filthy. Overall, it felt more like a concentration camp than accommodation. This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. I would not recommend it to anyone. The staff was good, and the free breakfast was a nice bonus. I guess the good things end there.

Staff unfriendly, dirty bedding, bed bugs everywhere got bitten numerous times, to be avoided

Er was in de badkamers enkel koud water naar mijn ervaring, en er lag in de kamers een haardroger maar in de badkamer is er geen stopcontact. In de kamer droog je je haar niet want je zit met 15 anderen die mogelijks nog slapen. Vervelend! Ook kregen we enkele aanraders via het onthaal op vrijdag+ zaterdag om naar een bepaalde pub te gaan voor live music, en wanneer we daar aankwamen was dit niet eens open of was er niks te doen. Jammer dat er foute info wordt gegeven dus! Tot slot: ik hoop dat mijn beddengoed vers was (je wil geen vieze bedwantsen of schurft krijgen) , maar het rook niet als gewassen. Mogelijks wassen zij lakens zonder een goed ruikende wasverzachter, maar dit vond ik toch raar... Het belangrijkste aan een hostel/hotel/verblijf zijn propere lakens, en ik kon dus niet zeker zeggen of ze proper waren omdat ze niet vers roken.

The hygiene conditions were extremely poor. I was bitten by bed bugs all over my body, with nearly 20 bites just on one arm, and the scars still haven't faded even after two months. I have stayed in over 20 hostels during my travels, and none of them have been as awful as this one. Please avoid this hostel.
