ST Signature Jalan Besar

Decent stay, not bad if you get a private bathroom. Shared bathrooms are mixed gender and that could be a deal breaker for many guests. Prices should be adjusted slightly lower to maintain a realistic value proposition, since this isn't exactly a full service hotel. Update Oct 2025: We unfortunately had a terrible experience with bed bugs and will not be returning again.

Unless you like to keep scratching yourself and getting bites from the numerous bedbugs. Stay away from this hotel

Read and saw article this is the hostel with a lot of bed bugs. This hostel should be close immediately. Ministry of health and environement please send officers to check immediately. It surely tarnish singapore hostels.

Guests who stayed at a hotel in Jalan Besar found themselves covered in bed bug bites after a 2-night stay. However, the hotel said that the guests had likely brought the bugs in. Ya ya , i bring in the bed bugs , eh , honestly ? This the best you can reply?

My friend stayed with his girlfriend at this place and were blamed for planting bed bugs when they got a serious case of scabies. They had to visit the hospital for treatment for this. This issue appeared in the local newspaper as well with another tenant a few weeks/months later. You are better off sleeping in the streets than staying at this garbage establishment. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Upon arrival at ST Jalan Besar the check in took around an hour process time (Total disappointment) and were asked to made a deposit of $80 in order to check in (first time a deposit is required even after rooms fully paid) Room is fine just that bed were rather dirty as there's lit bed bugs and cockroaches found as well... When times up a lady who's working there straight unlock our doors which I think it's kinda of rude. 1/5 for the experience.

the room that we gotten had a very strong smell coming from the bed, there were no toilet amenities and there were bed bugs in the room and i had few bites on my body , so i ask for an new room but even though the new room looks better, there was still also a strong stench smell. I ask if i could extend the timing since waiting for the new room was about 1hr. There also no one there to tell us what number was the new room, we had to do a skype call to get someone. All we gotten was a 30 min extra. Overall for paying almost $200 for only 8hr stay, i definitely wont come again.
