Drunken Monkey Hostel

Run down hostel. Upon arrival I noticed a bug on my bed, then I went to the reception seeking assistance or a change of room, at first the receptionist didn’t seem to care too much and even was sarcastic asking if I wanted him to remove the insect from the bed, after I insisted he asked me to send the picture to him so the manager would take a look, then they concluded it was not a bedbug. Also in the first night there was a power outage only on my floor, we remained the whole morning with no lights which impacted my itinerary as my cellphone didn’t have battery and i couldn’t leave the hostel as planned before. Regarding the bedroom, it is very small for 4 people, also with 2 toilets shared between 4 rooms, which is very inconvenient and the male shower cabin is tiny. The cleaning is also not satisfactory and the staff is not friendly at all. Overall I would not come back

NO RECOMIENDO ESTE HOSTEL – PÉSIMA EXPERIENCIA. NO VAYAN Tuve una experiencia muy mala en este lugar y sinceramente recomiendo evitarlo a toda costa. Desde el primer día no había internet en la habitación, algo básico que prometen. Al reclamar por esto, en lugar de ofrecer una solución, cancelaron mi reserva unilateralmente. Además el día que me fui me prometieron que me devolverían la garantía dentro de una semana. Han pasado semanas y todavía no recibí nada. Como si fuera poco, el mismo día en que supuestamente revisaron la conexión a internet, desapareció mi cargador. Coincidencia o no, nunca apareció y nadie se hizo responsable. Además, el hostel está súper saturado: muy pocos baños para la cantidad de camas que tienen, la limpieza brilla por su ausencia y lo peor de todo: había chinches caminando por todos lados. Horrible. En la foto se puede ver la chinche caminando por mi remera. Mi consejo: no pierdan su tiempo ni su dinero acá. Hay muchas mejores opciones en la zona por el mismo precio o incluso más baratas y donde pueden estar más seguros.

On a eu des problèmes avec des punaises de lit, on l'a signalé à l'accueil mais ils nous ont dit que ce n'était que des insectes et pas des punaises de lit (en ayant déjà eu, on sait les reconnaitre et on sait que c'est un enfer d'en ramener chez soi). Ils ont bien voulu nous changer de chambre néanmoins mais pour nous, ne pas reconnaitre que leurs lits étaient infestés, et n'avoir rien mis en place (aucun nettoyage) pour y remédier est un grave manquement.

This place had bed bugs! The staff were fine they dealt with it and gave me a new room however I wouldn’t stay here again I left after 1 night
