Kalinga Art Home Hostel

My stay at this hostel was an absolute nightmare. Despite the friendly staff, the hostel's cleanliness and hygiene were severely lacking. From battling bed bugs all night to enduring unclean bathrooms devoid of handwash, every aspect of the accommodation was disappointing. The absence of curtains for privacy and uncomfortable bedding only added to the discomfort. It's bewildering how this hostel has received positive ratings, as my experience was anything but satisfactory. Until substantial improvements are made, I strongly advise against staying here.

There were SO many mosquitoes that I couldn’t sleep for them buzzing in my ear (literal clouds of them in the room), me and my friend both woke up with dozens of bed bug bites all over our faces and hands, there was no lock on the dormitory door and a 40yr old man came in at 3am and started going through everyone’s stuff trying to steal things - we were told he also did this in another room but nothing was done about it.
