Bed bugs

We booked a family room, but later at night we found bed bugs on our beds. Also the toilet was giving a damp smell. But staff manage to find another room for us & try to accommodate us very well.

Found bedbugs and a very strong chemical smell. We are not the only ones who had this problem - just look at the comments on Google too. Staff reimbursed us straight away when we decided to leave and did not seem surprised by what we told them - so it seems to be a reoccurring issue. Book elsewhere

- I got bitten badly by bedbugs in 8bed dorm, my friend also got bitten in the 4bed dorm - Bedbugs were found on my backpack so had to throwaway some clothes and do extensive cleaning. - No hot shower in female bathroom

The room had bed bugs we had to leave at 00:30 and find another hotel last minute to stay. The room was full of a toxic chemical on the floor. The smell was horrible and we had to cover our mouths once inside of the room. The towels were dirty and full of stains.

There were bed bugs in our room causing one of us to have a severe allergic reaction. We had to go to the emergency ward for treatment. The staff helped us to get to the hospital and also gave a partial refund.

Unfortunately I was bitten by bed bugs 😟 My entire body was itching as soon as I went to bed. I couldn’t sleep due to small pricks and itching and I was covered in welts in the morning.

Bed bugs, ruined my trip, no positive can make up for that, I can tolerate a lot but not bed bugs. I was bitten all over, killed a few, showed the evidence to the receptionists who gave me half of my money back and said I could sleep on the couch in the hall in exchange for not writing this review. I'm sorry but it'd be unfair to other travellers, bed bugs are impossible to forgive. The showers are filthy, hair everywhere, lots of giant cockroaches in the dorm too. Hot water has zero pressure, just a tiny bit comes out. The dorms are cramped.

TLDR: There were bed bugs and the room was hot. We booked a family room. The room seemed fine we got there though it did look a bit tired and the AC was barely functional. If that's the case, there should at least be a fan in the room. It was just a one-night stay and it was already late so we weren't too worried until we saw two bed bugs on one of the beds. We asked if there were any options to stay elsewhere but were told the hotel was full. And cue the bites etc. Three adults had to share one bed to avoid the one where we first saw two bed bugs. Following that, we killed about ten as they crawled out and bit us through the night. Obviously no one slept well. Would not recommend staying here as the staff seemed very confused by the concept of bed bugs and couldn't offer any solution at all other than giving us a new pillow instead of the one we first saw the bed bugs emerge from. But no surprise, the bed bugs have definitely been there for a while - see the photo of them between the gap in the headboard. It was also incredibly noisy in the room thanks to construction outside and activities on the floor above and around us. They don't have food/breakfast sold on the property either but lots of options close by. And their card machine wasn't working, which was kind of the cherry on top of a terrible situation.

The bathrooms could be cleaner and there were a few bugs in the bedroom.

There were tiny bugs on the bed at night (NOT bed bugs, thank goodness) - still not very pleasant

Leider wurden wir mitten in der Nacht von Bettwanzen geweckt. Ein Bett war völlig befallen, im anderen waren auch ein paar, ebenso am Vorhang und an der Wand. Es war insofern ärgerlich, als wir in der letzten Nacht vor der Rückreise noch ausschlafen wollten und das Hotel uns kein anderes Zimmer anbieten konnte, weil sie ausgebucht waren. Uns ist klar, dass so etwas schon einmal passieren kann. Vom Hotel wurde uns versichert, dass sie die Hygienebestimmungen strikt einhalten. Der Mitarbeiter gab uns frische Leintücher und wischte die Wanzen vom Bett auf den Boden wo unsere Rucksäcke lagen! Wir hätten uns erwartet, dass vom Management irgendeine Reaktion erfolgt. Wenn schon kein Entgegenkommen, dann zumindest eine Entschuldigung und Versicherung, dass sie das Zimmer für künftige Gäste gründlich reinigen werden. Diesen Eindruck hatten wir leider nicht. Die größte Enttäuschung war letztlich, dass uns eine Rückmeldung zugesagt wurde, sich bis heute jedoch auch nach einem Monat und wiederholter Kontaktaufnahme durch uns niemand meldete. Die Bewertung wäre sonst sicher deutlich besser ausgefallen, aber scheinbar dürfte ihnen selbst solch ein Missstand egal sein.

When we checked in, there was an overwhelming smell of kerosene/petroleum distillate within the corridors. This was also it present in the first room we were offered (before we asked to be moved). It wasn’t lost on me that kerosene is a home remedy for bedbugs (or that the room next to us was completely tossed apart for insect treatment). What was incredibly disappointing though, was the attitude of the staff, who pretended not to smell anything. Hilariously, when we asked to be moved, the receptionist said ‘Sir, it’s air freshener’. We were lost for words. Unless you enjoy Eau de Kerosene, we would recommend you look elsewhere.

Bed bugs, do not stay here. I ended up moving beds that night after talking to the receptionist but the next day I popped my head into the room (no security) and the bed was made for the next person.

I had bedbugs and the manager only gave me a 60% refund for 1 of the nights when I said I wanted my money back even though I got eaten alive and had to sleep in the lobby. I honestly probably wouldn’t even have complained if they just gave me a full refund. The regular staff were absolutely amazing and overall the place was nice but bedbugs ruin everything and then poor customer service and unwillness to compensate for that type of discomfort to me is just the worst kind of hospitality.

In einem anderen Zimmer gab es ein Vorfall mit Bettwanzen

Mein Bett war VOLL von Bettwanzen, durfte für die erste Nacht nur das Bett und nicht das Zimmer wechseln. Keine Entschuldigung, keine Rückerstattung, musste Wäsche der im Bett getragenen Kleider selbst bezahlen. Bin nach einer Nacht abgereist. Habe Frau getroffen welche 4 Nächte vor mir im selben Bett schlief. Sie hatte die Bettwanzen bereits gemeldet! Schlimm!
