River Hostel

There have bed bugs in my bed and completely ruined my skin! I have to pay 147 euros to cure it because they bitten me crazily and left marks all over my body

Cimici da letto. Nulla di invalidante o invasivo, ma sempre infelice.

Salid corriendo. Hay CHINCHES en este albergue. Y no pocas. El albergue en sí me pareció limpio y todo correcto, pero en cuanto me metí en la cama todo el cuerpo empezó a picarme. Que horror de noche. Al principio pensé que eran imaginaciones mías pero no podía parar de rascarme. El albergue tiene reseñas recientes que hablan de el problema de las chinches. Un horror. Definitivamente tienen que fumigar. Por añadir, la escalera a la litera la veo un poco peligrosa.

Yo no puedo darle una buena calificación a ese sitio pues un familiar mío estuvo allí hospedado y al cuarto día lo sacaron de su habitación junto con otras personas que estaban allí hospedadas en una habitación compartida por qué esta habitación estaba infectada de chinches y por sanidad los desalojaron pero no los reubicaron sino que los tiraron a la calle y a mi familiar no lo quisieron reubicar por qué no les dio la gana y además no le devolvieron lo que el había pagado por su hospedaje personalmente sino que se lo enviaron a la agencia de turismo en la cual el había hecho la reserva hotelera y al sacarlo de la habitación sin reubicarlo le tocó dormir en la calle por qué no consiguió hotel para esa noche y luego pagar hotel al otro día más caro y pues lógico que había que reclamar por esto que no me parece justo y además el empleado o el tipo ese que está en recepción es bastante altanero y grosero por qué no acepto reclamo alguno y dijo que esas eran las políticas del hotel y esta es la fecha que ni razón dan del dinero que tienen que devolverle por los días que le faltaban de hospedaje y cuando mi familiar le reclamo por ello el tipo mencionado de la recepción lo que hizo fue sacarlo y amenazarlo con la policía y luego yo como familiar de él y viendo el atropello pues también fuy a reclamar y a mí también me amenazó con la policía demostrando que no es una persona adecuada para atender a un ciudadano por qué le falta mucha ética y no tiene modales para ese cargo y de mi parte no recomiendo ese sitio por eso, esto sucedió a finales de octubre y a esta fecha que hago este comentario 19 de noviembre nadie ha respondido por lo que le deben a mi familiar y pues se le ha preguntado varias veces a la agencia de viajes por el reembolso que le deben al chico y ellos dicen que no aparece ningún reembolso todavía...entonces no recomiendo ese sitio a nadie por qué a cualquier turista le puede pasar y como ya lo dije considero que esto es un atropello y un mal trato a un usuario y como le sucedió a mi familiar le puede suceder a cualquiera .Saludos

Bed bugs :( Found one on my bed on the last day. Had a lot of bits appear over the next couple days

I woke up at 6 a.m itching and found bed bugs in my bed. It was a horrible experience. For reference: Room 11 bed 6 and my stay was for 1 night from 06.09.23 to 07.09.23

Decent stay but staff wasn’t the most helpful and the beds creaked so loudly with any movement. Didn’t realize there were bed bugs until the morning of my checkout. I got a lot of bites. Luckily my bags were clean. I informed them and was told that it was taken care of. Can’t fault the hostel for it since it can happen to even the nicest of places. Just thought you should know and decide for yourself.

a very good hostel, the ac was on in rooms but at night it was so cold we had to wear sweaters and were still freezing, very clean allthough the bathrooms were a bit weirdly thought out, veeery big hostel and great if you want to meet people. while we were there a room had a problem with bed bugs but they told us it was taken care of.

There were bed bugs that bite all over my body. For that reason my stay was quite bad. Also, the ac was not switched on by them in the afternoon time despite warm temperature. But cleanliness is really bed. And getting the bed bugs bites is extremely irritating

The staff was rather unfriendly. You were greeted with having to read a long list of rules and sign that you read them. There were signs all over the place about the rules. It felt unwelcoming. Their whole setup with the boxes underneath the bed where you're supposed to leave your luggage is a paradise for bed bugs. I got bitten and had to deal with either cancelling my remaining travels or finding a way to decontaminate my luggage on the go. Absolute Nightmare!

Atención!!! Hostel con chinches !!!!El personal no me ha gustado nada y apenas te explican nada, las habitaciones no me las esperaba mejores por ese precio así que no diré mucho, me recuerdan a típicas habitaciones de manicomio de los años 50, a las duchas les falta gel de ducha o algo así, y las instalaciones están bastante mal, yo pagué 15 euros y no pagaría más por alojarme aquí, también me desperté con picaduras de chinches, es asqueroso....creo que esta bien para gente muy joven sin dinero pero no para otros. No he estado incómodo pero no me he sentido a gusto, La verdad no creo que vuelva.

If you don’t mind roughing it a little bit, it’s a good price. Mattresses have a plastic cover to prevent bedbugs which was nice. Quite noisy in the rooms because of the location and the lockers are old and noisy, so bring ear plugs. Bathrooms said they were cleaned twice a day but they were always smelly, humid and did not look like they were. The showers flood whilst you’re in them, so it’s like you’re in a puddle which was gross, and the water from the shower head smelt. It might have been the people staying at the hostel at the time, but the kitchen could have done with a better clean and new dishwashing utensils. They provide a free walking tour which I didn’t go on but it was nice to have the option. Good location! Cleanliness: 2/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Comfort: 4/5 Facilities: 4/5
