The worst hostel experience I’ve ever had: The room was full of MOLD, so bad you could smell it first thing you enter. After an hour I head such a bad headache that I talked to the receptionist who even knew about the severe mold problem but couldn’t offer me any solution. On top of that there were even BED BUGS in my bed which left traces along the length of my entire left arm and my thigh. I spent the worst night ever there and left in the morning without staying a second night as I had booked. My message to the property about either a different room or a refund remains unanswered - no apology, nothing! Luckily booking.com was very helpful. Please don’t book here.

Tres mouvais hostile Très sale et il y a toujours du bruit et des mauvaises odeurs et aussi il y a de punaise de lit et je deja mis des preuve en photo 👎🤬 Je ne le recommande pas

Ich war hier nur eine Nacht im Oktober. Hat bloß 17€ gekostet (+4€ Touristensteuer). Netter Service (spricht Englisch aber leider kein portugiesisch). Betten waren sauber und gemütlich, mit Vorhängen und sogar einem kleinen Ventilator am Bett! Es gibt für jeden einen Spint. Küche und Vorhof habe ich nicht benutzt aber sahen ganz gut aus. Über die Zimmeraufteilung und das Badezimmer war ich etwas verwundert. Ich war als einziger Mann mit 7 Frauen in einem Zimmer und Badezimmer. Die Duschen sind sehr klein und es gibt keine wirkliche Ablagefläche für Wäsche. Man merkt sofort die Nähe zum Flughafen, die Flugzeuge fliegen knapp 300m vom Hostel entfernt und das zu jeder Uhrzeit. Man braucht auf jeden Fall Ohropax. Zu den Rezensionen mit den Bedbugs: Mir schien alles sehr hygienisch, sie haben keine Insekten mehr.

Las camas estaban llenas de chinches, llegué a mi casa con todo el cuerpo lleno de ronchas. No se siente nada de privacidad a pesar de las cortinas. El baño es muy desagradable y me sentí incómoda todo el tiempo. No se lo recomendaría a nadie, y mucho menos si eres mujer. No vale la pena ahorrarse ninguna cantidad de dinero. No es nada cómodo y se siente sucio.

Para los viajeros en bicicleta, el sitio donde se guarda es un patio que se ve desde la calle y fácil acceso, la puerta del patio no se cierra en 24h. Es verdad que tienen cámaras pero eso no quita que te la puedan robar fácilmente. Hay chinches.

PUNAISES DE LIT (bed bugs) ATTENTION! Ça allait, jusqu'à ce qu'on constate qu'il y avait des punaises de lit partout !!! J'ai été fortement piqué et mon amie et moi avons du se battre pour s'en débarrasser ensuite pour notre voyage qui était loin d'être terminé ! Le personnel a essayé de traiter le problème mais seulement avec de l'insecticide, ce qui n'est pas suffisant pour traiter les punaises de lit! Mais au moins ils ont essayé de faire quelque chose ! Le problème est le propriétaire qui ne s'était pas occupé de ce problème (existant depuis un moment au vu des commentaires passés) Nous avons eu un remboursement d'une partie suite à des contestations booking ! Le problème doit être réglé mais je me méfierai et ne retournerai jamais là bas

Nas camas tinham percevejo, foram dias extremamente desagradáveis, fiquei cheia de picadas. Reclamei com os funcionários e não recebi nenhuma ajuda. Percevejo é sinal de sujeira, inadmissível para um hostel.

Got bitten badly by bed bugs all over... 😔

Really have a bad experience in this hostel.because there have to many bedbugs and bad behavior of workers.all night we don’t sleep and they don’t have any solutions of this situation.so bad

A lot of bedbugs with really rude person who was working there. I saw blood on the walls. Be careful with this kind of frauds because it can make you really sick so I would never recommend to anyone.

No hay puertas en las habitaciones. Posible infestación de chinches. En una de las camas había una chinche muerta en la pared. Además que recibimos picaduras varias. Sugerencia de limpieza a fondo: las cortinas estaban sucias y olían a pies

Baños con hongos. Camas con chinches. Cocina poco equipada. Ubicación alejada.

This place is truly a hidden gem. You feel at home instantly. Every is rather tiny but super cosy and the hosts from Bangladesh make you feel home instantly. For a Scotsman like me it can be very frustrating communicating with the locals as they're English is almost not existing or they are too lazy and bored to talk in a foreign language. But then why do you bed bugs even bother with going into the hospitality industry. You won't have that problem of communication here. Instead you will have good conversations with all the staff here as they are all from a nation that has been colognized and civilized by the ancestors of the United Kingdom. In any case, great place. Great location. Nice people. Very good value. In my view, under rated.

Not one Portuguese or Portuguese speaking member of staff. They charged extra for dirty towels. An almost cold shower. Stained bedsheets. The staff follows you around to the bathroom so I had to accompany my sister every time she went, as she was uncomfortable. People on the beds next to ours complained about finding bed bugs, to which the (apparent) owner answered by throwing a tantrum and ripping the mattresses out in such way to intimidate the complaining guests and those who watched. Luckily I didn’t find any bed bugs, although I did not leave without a few bites on me.
