Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und auch die Lage sehr zentral. Leider ist das Hostel extrem unsauber mit Staubballen unter den Betten und Schimmel im Bad… Die Toilette beinhaltet bereits die Dusche was zur mangelnden Hygiene beiträgt, auch fehlt einem in den 2 Toiletten die nötige Privatsphäre. Wir haben uns ziemlich unwohl gefühlt und sie und bereits eine Nacht früher abgereist.
The staff was very nice and also the location very central. unfortunately the hostel is extremely unhygienic with Dustballs under the beds and Mold in the bathroom... The toilet already includes the shower which was contributing to the lack of hygiene, also one of the 2 toilets lacks the necessary privacy. we felt quite uncomfortable and left you and already one night early.
They refused to cancel the last two days
Could have better facilitaties however the beds are comfy.
The staff of the hostel was not welcoming, not helpful and some staff, like Marna, was even rude when I asked her for information about where to exchange money. They didnt provide info of anything, even the password of the wifi. I asked where to buy the bus ticket to go to Siwa and they didnt help at all. On the other hand, rooms were so noisy, and toilets didnt have toilet paper. I would not come back to Ithaka hostel any more. Thanks, Jone
En general muy oscuro, los baños incómodos con el riesgo de escurrirse el agua fuera al pasillo, y por primera vez me cobraron el prepararme un café en la tarde. Punto a favor, la ubicación es fácil de identificar en plena avenida costera.
In general very dark, the bathrooms uncomfortable with the risk of the water running out of the hallway, and for the first time I was charged for making a coffee in the afternoon.
The hostel was overall decent. I did have an incident that left me stunned. My room did not have an A/C remote so I asked the staff member on duty to help me turn it on. He said he was not able to fix the problem until the morning. I spent the entire night restless and with a headache from the heat. In the morning, I got in my boyfriend’s bed that had A/C. The staff member walked in and scolded my boyfriend for letting me enter the room despite it not being specified that I couldn’t be in th...
muy ruidoso y frio. pocas duchas. las ventanas no cierran bien y se oye la bullanga del cafetin de abajo.
It's very noisy and cold. few showers. windows don't close properly and you can hear the coffee shop blaring downstairs.
The staff was kind and they tried their best and the location of the hostel was nice.But it is not worth that price for sure(dirty room,2 toilets in the whole building,broken locker,uncomfortable bed...)
Fabulous location right on the water and pretty comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly and offered great recommendations!
Kann man machen... Toilettensituation gewöhnungsbedürftig: es gibt drei Kabinen mit jeweils Dusche und Klo. Kann zu Wartezeiten kommen und beim Duschen wird auch die ganze Toilette nass, da es recht eng ist... Alternative in Alexandria fehlt, daher trotzdem weiterzuempfehlen. Aufenthaltsräume gemütlich und Betten sehr bequem. Klimaanlage ist ebenfalls Goldwert bei 40 Grad.
Kann man make... Toilet situation customized: there are three cabins with each a Shower and Klo. Kann zu Wartezeiten kommen and during the Shower also the whole Toilet gets wet, as es recht eng ist... Alternative in Alexandria is missing, therefore still recommend.

Great location. More basic than other places. The staff was ok, not as outgoing, accommodating, and helpful as I experienced in other places.
I just spent one night and two days in Alexandria, and Ithaka Mansheya was good for that one night. There is no external sign at street level which makes it difficult to find.
I enjoyed my stay here! The staff was friendly and the location made it easy to get around to just about everything I wanted to see in Alexandria. I'd definitely stay here again!
Very nice and friendly staff, they make you fell at home. Tasty breakfast. Lovely location. Hostel is clean and comfortable. I’ll return. Fully recommended.
I loved my stay in Ithaka Hostel Alexandria! I just say a view of the sea in the morning makes you always happy, right? Also a huge shout out to Logy and Monica, great staff, made my experience in Alexandria even better! Have a nice one and see you next time! Shukran!

Loved the reception staff 🫶🏻 Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so delicious. I felt super safe and the vibe was great. The location was pretty central too
Could be cleaner. Felt kinda dark. Staff could be more proactive. Not bad anyway.

Great hostel, both with location and staff friendliness. They were all very helpful during our stay. I was greeted by Ehab, he and the rest of staff made our stay great.

Hostel was ok, in general it needs better cleaning and maintenance. Staff, breakfast and location was good.

Couple of staff were guest friendly and helpful. One even gave print out of the sightseeing places & distance, restaurant to visit and very helpful. Shower in bathroom was not working properly. Door makes noise opening. Location, few friendly staff, breakfast & coffee included are positives.
Amazing hostel in Alexandria run by really lovely and helpful staff. They let check-in in the middle of the night, and were super kind and helpful. Nice rooms with AC - breakfast was fab as well, would recommend!!

From the moment I arrived at the hostel, Bonita made me feel welcomed and at ease. Her kindness, calming energy, and genuine warmth stood out during my stay. Clean hostel overall though bathrooms could use a bit more care. The staff are excellent and breakfast was tasty and timely (and included!). Location is prime along the water, lovely views from sea side room. Social with good atmosphere. Good hosts with attention to detail and suggestions for activities. Can book short trips for you eg to Siwa or Hurghada etc.
