Mahana Lodge Hostel & Backpacker

The property is very bad maintained, dirty hallways and room. Cockroaches in the kitchen and in the room, bed bugs and terrible toilets. A lot of steps to climb especially if you have big luggage. The room is very tiny, literally the size of the bed, no window, seems worse than a prison cell. No place to put clothes or your luggage. The receptionist (a chubby bloke, I didn't catch his name) was very aggressive and became violent so I had to involve the police. Luckily, with police help, I managed to get my money back and found another place to stay.

The bunk beds are so flimsy, they shake when you try to climb up them, the rooms felt yucky, I had BED BUGS IN MY BED!!, I got sick while there, the shower head stands didn’t work, so you had to hold it and a trickle of water came out. Would never stay again!!!
