K-Bunk Hostel Pai (Walking Street)

Beds are the smallest, most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on in my 5 months of travel. Found a bed bug, there is mold in the showers and loud music until 2am every day

Perfect vibes if you’re after a party in Pai. Organised socials every day and night, and reps were all good fun - shoutout to Lucas! Locations great just check for bed bugs lmao

Nous avons eu des punaises de lit, obligés de changer de chambre en pleine nuit. Au-delà de ça, les chambres sont minuscules et les lits sont très petits (à peine 1m80 de longueur…) Heureusement, on nous a remboursé la nuit que nous avions payé, nous avons ensuite changé d’hostel. Je ne recommande pas.

it's a party hostel! it feels like love island lol, just Brits abroad. if that's your vibe thats fine, but if not, I wouldn't recommend staying here. a lot of people complained of bed bugs here. also the reps are so cliquey and don't acc chat to anyone, and there are too many of them lol someone had to say it

Decent place, very sociable and the staff speak english well. However, many of the rooms had bed bugs. I was lucky and didn’t get any but on the group chat there were 4 rooms (out of 13) that had them. The hostel is also right next to a bar that is open until about 3am everyday and the walls are paper thin so don’t expect to get much sleep. This can be slightly fixed with a good pair of ear plugs though.

Bed bugs in the beds. They moved me to other bed which was fine. The guy at front reception was so rude from the start and did not apologise at all for the issue. Also they tried to mark my stay as a ‘no show’ on hostel world so I could not give a review.

******Bed bugs****** My friend I stayed 4 nights at k-bunk. The last night we had to move to another room. At 2am I woke up with bed bugs all over the bed. The 3 young boys in the reception didn’t seem to understand. They just told me “tomorrow”. We packed our bags and walked to a hotel in the middle of the night. Came back next morning and got money refunded for one night. Very unfortunate situation. Otherwise the hostel was very social and had a nice pool and nice reps.

Echt een partyhostel, je moet er maar van houden. De muziek is luid maar duurt meestal tot maar 22:00-00:00 dus je hebt er nauwelijks last van. Elke avond worden er evenementen georganiseerd in Pai, die zijn erg leuk. Andere gasten vonden tijdens het verblijf echter bedwantsen.

BEDBUGS!!!! The room of my friends was with bedbugs, check everything!! Wasn’t in my room but checked out immediately. Staff didn’t react schocked, so probably knew about it. Also beds have different lengths. I’m 1,73 and barely fitted. Other guys could’nt sleep normally. The hostel it self was fine!

Was a good stay other than the fact I found a bed bug in my bed

Beds were absolutely tiny in the 6 bed dorm, I’m 5’10 and struggled to fit. People in the room woke up with bed bug bites.

WORST HOSTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. BED BUGS, DIRT, RUDE STAFF, MUSIC BLASTING UNTIL 3am. Shower also has no hot water, bathroom is filled with flies and centipedes. This sadly tainted our perception of Pai which I’m sure we would have loved if we stayed somewhere else.

I found a bed bug in my bed.. And I’ve informed the reception to change my room.. they moved me to another room and i didn’t find bed bugs..

the hostel is pretty social but came off as a bit cliquiey as well, the rooms themselves were good with lots of storage space, but me and my partner both had bugs all over our beds and we were sleeping in beds that weren’t connected to each other so i assume it’s a bed bug issue they have unfortunately. the music is also ridiculously loud in the bar next door but does shut off around 1:30am, people also seem to be having a lot of sex in the dorms, but other than all that it was a pleasant time

The beds are built for leprechaun's and there were bed bugs.

The bedrooms are very dirty due to the high humidity, with mold on the walls, mushrooms in the bathroom, and bedbugs in some rooms. The windowless bedrooms are also located next to several busy bars, making it impossible to sleep before 2 a.m. Otherwise, the location is good, and the hostel usually organizes activities in the evening.

Reps were good and a lot better than other places and social aspect was good. Pool area was really nice but pool was not clean so we didn’t go in. Beds were very small (any taller than 5ft 8 and you’d struggle) and top bunk difficult to get to. Rooms were filthy - floor was dirty, bathrooms mouldy, air con didn’t work properly. Oh and to top it off the bed bug situation is real. Me and my friend have loads of bites !!!!

Even though I was assured they had sorted the bed bugs, they were still there. Wouldn’t recommend, there was mold all in the bathroom, music until 2am next door and alive bed bugs in the girls bed next to me and dead ones in mine. Bed were the size of a toothpick, couldn’t roll over. Staff asleep on front desk when I went to check out. Someone was sick in my room, it wasn’t cleaned properly; sick down the curtains and sticky floors. I recommend Happy House

Probably the worst hostel I’ve stayed at. The cleaners were lovely, but the place was falling apart and the rumours of bed bugs the entire time was a huge put off. Club next door doesn’t close till 2am, so don’t stay if you want to get a good nights sleep. Great hostel however if you just wanna get drunk/high and stay out till 5am with everyone who probably should have just gone to Ibiza.

The staff were sooo amazing and helpful. However, can’t recommend staff here because it was very dirty, smelly, and had bed bugs. My roommate found bedbugs in her previous room and had to move into ours. Seems they have a big bed bug issue. Also the beds are very strange. If you are taller than 173cm you would not fit in the bed and extremely small on either end as well.

Good location, nice staff but wouldn’t recommend because everyone I know including myself suffered from bed bug bites. 😭🤪 I think you could probably find nicer hostels without bed bugs

Hostel seemed alright, but there were bed bugs. Staff did not seem sursprised and did not apologize or anything. When I asked them what I should do they didn’t really know. Just to be sure, i wouldnt go here.

Really noisy (during my days here, it was noisy until 2 A.M at least). My bed has bed bugs.

Really good location, staff are very nice and it is a very social hostel with activities every night. Unfortunately me and 4 others in our dorm have got bed bug bites all over our bodies from staying here which is a real let down. If there were no bed bugs would’ve been 10/10

A few issues w k-bunk: The top bunk they gave me had no safety bar/ protection from falling out of bed. I saw them rent it to someone else immediately after, not safe. Also, after 2 nights I’ve come away with bites all over my body- I think they have bed bugs. I heard someone else complaining & they wouldn’t refund them so I didn’t even bother. 3rd- it’s next to the late night club in Pai. Music will pump into your bunk until 1am. It can be fun but also really irritating if you’re not partying

great location, nice atmosphere for partying. nice stay even though we had bed bugs on the second night. however the staff was very nice and helped us move rooms and wash our stuff.

the dorms smelled and were small, I felt very cramped in that room. if you like to party it might be fun but you can't sit anywhere without loud music. It had a really weird smell in the outside area. there were also beds with bed bugs..

Close to a club + music in the (empty) pool area until late, so very loud. Not even a party hostel.

Pros: the common area is great! Thanks to the Reps (Celina, Bri, Matt, George & Georgia) there was always a great atmosphere & we had a lot of fun before the tipsy tubing or the Bar crawl. So a nice social Hostel. Cons: Location is central but because of that it’s loud until 1-2 am which is fine for a party hostel. The beds are short and narrow which makes it uncomfortable. And sadly I woke up with bites & a bedbug in my bed. Hope the staff takes care of it but the reaction didn’t seem like it
