SLO Nice

Absolutely horrifying experience. I only stayed 2 nights at this hostel and ended up with my legs covered in dozens of swollen, red bites. They were huge, hard, unbearably itchy, and some even oozed yellow liquid when scratched. Clearly something is living in the beds, like bed bugs or some other insects, but whatever it is, it’s unacceptable. I couldn’t sleep at all because of the itching. I have to go to hospital. For a hostel, hygiene should be the bare minimum, but here it feels completely neglected. Think twice before booking, cheap price is not worth waking up to a nightmare like this.

not that social, but really modern and overall clean. bathroom-concept is quite nice and unique. breakfast is ok, definitely if you want some boiled eggs. beds are comfortable although I got probably bitten a few timbes by a bedbug during my nights. really close to station and shops. excellent for Day trip to Monaco, however in Nice is not much to do and see.

The building itself is gorgeous, great modern facilities, location is unbeatable and staff are very kind and helpful. Unfortunately there were bed bugs in my 8 bed dorm and management only refunded my stay partially which really soured my experience. Elevator was also down the entire time I was there so walking up 4 floors was not fun.
